@kirawontmiss At this rate, 2 tables per hour would net $65.50 in tips, and pretty soon no tax! This doesn't even include the hourly rate. Being a waitress might be the best job there is if this is the expected way to tip.

(July 19, 2024) Indianapolis, Indiana - Armed man shot and killed by driver during suspected road-rage confrontation Harrowing footage captured an armed man being shot dead in Indianapolis as he yelled at a driver in a suspected road-rage incident. The footage shared on social media allegedly shows the moment Gavin Dasaur, 29, quickly approaches a white Chevy pickup truck on Tuesday evening and attempts to punch the driver while holding what appears to be a handgun. The driver tries to smack the punch away, with Dasaur shifting the weapon to his left hand as he appears to berate the driver while pointing at them repeatedly with his right hand. The driver then points their own gun at Dasaur, firing repeatedly as the 29-year-old falls to the ground. The seven-second video capturing the chaos ends with the person filming the exchange taking cover in their own car. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting broke out around 8:15 p.m. near the intersection of South Emerson Avenue and Thompson Road. Witnesses told police the shooting occurred over a road-rage incident between the Chevy driver and Dasaur, who was driving a black Honda, local WTHR reports. The driver of the pickup truck was initially detained but later released after investigators found that the driver may have been acting in self-defense. Cinthya ZaMora, Dasaur’s wife, condemned the shooting as she grieved her husband’s death. “He was a hardworking man that always went out of his way to help anyone and wanted to give the world to me and his family,” she told the local outlet. Geno Smith felt “disrespected?” John Schneider put his legacy on the line trading Russell Wilson & empowering Geno in ways no one else ever did. Paying him many, many millions too. I don’t think the disrespect card is the one to play Geno. But that’s just me

This is legitimately the dumbest chart I’ve seen, there seems to be no logic in why $LINK would spent half a year at $11 and do all this “stuff” and then day by day slowly drop back down to $11 Holy shit 👀…totally in survival mode

One million workers responded to the email from @elonmusk That means more than a million did not. What a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to terminate those people. Of course we can expect many panic-stricken responses when those notices go out. C’mon DOGE, let her rip!

@MontanaPenguin @kylenabecker The MSPB exists to stop the government from firing people unfairly and to make agencies follow the rules—whether they like it or not.

This is an office in the OPM. It was redesignated as the MSPB in the Carter Admin (formerly US Civil Service Commission). Can't the new head of the OPM just shut down the office? Why do we have all these offices within Offices and Agencies that the American people know largely nothing about or that they ever existed and probably never would have approved of? They actually work against the best interest of the civilian population and drain our tax $$. Shut these offices down!

🚨JUST IN: Lawsuit Claims 'Independent' Board Can Overrule Trump, Keep Him from Firing Government Workers Thousands of federal workers recently fired by the Trump administration could appeal for reinstatement and back pay through the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), an unelected board that claims the authority to overrule presidential decisions over hiring and terminations. According to NBC News, the MSPB—a quasi-judicial body of about 60 judges—saw 4,500 cases last year but is expected to face a surge as mass firings continue across agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Aviation Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, Internal Revenue Service, and more. Many of those dismissed have been involved in DEI and environmental justice initiatives. Employment attorney Jim Eisenmann stated that “a number of employees who have been fired have excellent cases” for appeal, adding that agencies conducting mass firings have not evaluated workers based on performance. Some employees, he argued, had received 'glowing' performance reviews before their termination. The Trump administration, backed by Elon Musk and the DOGE team, is rapidly reducing government size to cut spending and improve efficiency, per officials. Federal unions are attempting to block these removals, but Trump's February 11 executive order continues to drive reductions. Meanwhile, Biden official Hampton Dellinger, head of the Office of Special Counsel and a longtime Biden family ally, has been fighting his own termination. @julie_kelly2 notes that because of Obama-appointed Judge Amy Berman Jackson and Supreme Court inaction, Dellinger remains in office despite being fired on February 7. He insists he can only be removed "with cause" and has asked the MSPB to reinstate six fired probationary employees from multiple agencies. Dellinger argues that the Trump administration must show cause for each firing, rather than conducting blanket terminations under the executive order. The MSPB—led by three Biden appointees, including a chairwoman reinstated by a DC judge after her own dismissal—will now decide if the six employees should be reinstated for at least 45 days.

I can’t believe @elonmusk has the NERVE to ask government employees for five accomplishments in a week. There are only 5 DAYS in a work week. It’s like he expects people to accomplish something EVERY DAY at work?! What an ass.

The email request was utterly trivial, as the standard for passing the test was to type some words and press send! Yet so many failed even that inane test, urged on in some cases by their managers. Have you ever witnessed such INCOMPETENCE and CONTEMPT for how YOUR TAXES are being spent? Makes old Twitter look good. Didn’t think that was possible.
Matt Walsh@MattWalshBlog

I already had a low opinion of many federal workers but now that I’ve seen them all meltdown and cry because they’re expected to provide the faintest evidence that they’re actually accomplishing anything with the taxpayer funded job we’ve given them, I realize that my opinion of them was still somehow too high
