Today’s Hispanic Heritage fun fact is all about “El Platano”, a staple in the home of our friends from the Dominican Republic. Known in English as plantains, this side dish is popular in many Latin American and Caribbean homes! YUM! :)

Today, @CherryLaneES learned some fun facts about Sonia Sotomayor. She made history in 2009 when she became the 1st Hispanic American to serve as a Supreme Court Justice of the United States!! She is also an amazing author! These are some her books! #HispanicHeritageMonth
