@SrenMller14 presented real world data on >1300 patients receiving SRS/SRT for brain metastases. More data comming soon. Great collaboration between neighbouring institutions @Rigshospitalet @HerlevGentofte #ESTRO2022

@SrenKVillemoes Det er en herlig artikel. Gisp, en stemme han havde. Tak også for tip om Cocaine serien, som jeg ikke kendte.

@sperformance @HugoB_scifi @Gab_H_R Whats your point and what do you suggest? Each variant and situation is different from the previous. New variants in the future may warrant zero covid policy. Omicron in DK🇩🇰 does not.
English

@HugoB_scifi @Gab_H_R …our biggest problem (as elsewhere) is infections among staff, but the mild course of omicron (for vaxxed!) along with shortened isolation times has made it possible keep up the pace
English

@HugoB_scifi @Gab_H_R I know, right? Infections are soaring in society and this is reflected in the positive rate of those hospitalized. Excess mortality in DK is stable at around 120 persons/week (population ca.5.5 million), which is why restrictions have been lifted
English

Japan has meticulous #COVID19 reporting. While still lower than the previous peak, data shows deaths are surging upwards ⬆️ at a *steeper pace* than all previous waves. 📌A “mild” variant shouldn’t do that. #Omicron
Figure by @DrWilliamKu.

English

@DrEricDing @DrWilliamKu …which is not to say that covid-19 is not serious and has not caused countless deaths. But the current strain in a well vaxxed community is just not as dangerous as earlier timepoints in the pandemic
English

@DrEricDing @DrWilliamKu If conditions are anything similar to Denmark, people are not dying from COVID-19 but of other causes (though infected because cases are massively surging). We rarely see covid pneumonia in my hospital and all covid patients I have come across since omicron had mild symptoms

@StephenKing I see her ears as well as those beautiful Danish chairs designed by Wegener. Here in Denmark they go by the nickname ‘the Y-chair’, with reference to the shape of the posterior support of the arm rest. They adorn our living room too.
