KESCO participated in a mental health summit for adolescents 2024 in Nairobi county to center voices and experiences of adolescents, while also equipping all stakeholders with the knowledge, skills, and resources to transform mental health support for Adolescents.

We participated in The Mombasa County Adolescent and Young People Strategy Launch on Health that aims to address unique challenges and needs of adolescents and young people. #The Green Catalyst project @DoHMombasa @DSWKenya @Life_Yangu

We had an awareness session to promote education around SGBV to Junda community members to help prevent violence and support survivors. By raising awareness and challenge harmful norms, promote consent, and foster a culture of respect and equality in relationships. @Life_Yangu

We had a mental health awareness session with young people at Junda dispensary on various issues including stress management, self-care practices, identifying signs of mental distress, and where to seek professional help. @Life_Yangu

KESCO conducted a Health Education forum at Junda community. The objective of this forum was to create awareness and educate community members, especially adolescents and young people, about the risk factors that contribute to HIV infection. @Life_Yangu

We partnered with the Department of health services - Mombasa for an integrated medical outreach exercise for AYPs residing from Kilalapwa community unit in the Junda ward which aimed to improve the health and well-being of the AYPs. @Life_Yangu @DoHMombasa @MombasaYACH

KESCO, along with other partners, took part in the celebration of International Women's Day in Mombasa county that aimed to acknowledge accomplishments of women in various domains such as social, economic, and cultural fields. @Life_Yangu
