Don't idealize them,they were humans who attained greatness. Those who chose to follow the Almighty rose above their human flaws and became truly great (Pandava).
Karna never had that opportunity, held back by loyalty, rejection, and constant criticism from society.

I've loved #Karna ever since I was a child. I've always been deeply emotionally connected to his character.
Yes, I know Karna committed actions that are unforgivable. But I also believe he never received the right guidance in life. A man who was born with every right to be raised as a king instead grew up carrying the stigma of being called a charioteer's son, enduring humiliation throughout his life. Because of that, he was denied the opportunities and recognition his talent deserved, and on top of it all, he was burdened with curse after curse.
Yet, there was one thing he never compromised on his promise to Duryodhana. Even when everyone doubted him, he refused to abandon the one person who stood by him. During the Kurukshetra war, hardly anyone on his own side truly supported him. even his charioteer failed to strengthen his spirit.
That's why I feel Nag Ashwin brought Karna back in Kalki to give his life a greater purpose to let him find the meaning and redemption he was denied in his previous life. I never saw any other intention behind it. To me, it felt like Karna was finally receiving the honor that had always eluded him and a fitting answer to the greatness of the warrior he truly was.

- Pandavas were no morally superior to Kauravas or Karna
- I don't think there is any greater sin than trading your wife as an object in gambling as a slave to anyone... There could be no sin greater than that
- Only reason Pandavas end up with winning side and believed to be good is because they realise their mistakes and follow Keshava's guidance eventually
- Other side was too arrogant to do that and ended up losing the battle
- Some see Karna as totally evil character and they look Mahabharatam from totally black and white lens... they think believe people identifying with morally grey characteristics of Karna is modern sub altern politics phenomenon
- These people needed to be reminded that Karna has more centuries old (some even very very ancient) Temples dedicated than that for Pandavas
- Karna Prayag is one of the sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus... It is one of the Pancha Prayags
- This is not a new phenomenon... Our religious traditions and our ancestors saw Karna with same benefit of doubt that modern people do
- Stop projecting your purist interpretations of Mahabharatam on others
