Reflecting on which tools I will use as a teacher this school year. Still formulating the plan for the go-to student resources this year.

Birthdays are different as an adult. I was excited to spend my birthday attending a conference about AI (and also present about @DiffitApp @waygroundai and @briskteaching). It took a couple days, but now processing some of the ideas and tools I learned about.

Excited to be part of Club Brisk. Already brainstorming how I can utilize AI for more differentiation next school year @BriskTeaching

I thought just having a cycling migraine for 80 days was bad, but it’s gotten worse. Two consecutive nights of the pillow causing shooting pain and visual auras. So now I’m beyond exhausted from not sleeping and have a migraine.

@quizizz I am presenting Differentiation AI 'nt Difficult in October, so where can I find a written update for individual paid vs school accommodations? A big focus for my presentation was on these, but we have individual and not school accounts, so I might have to reconsider.

I have things I need to do to feel prepared to start the school year, but I need my class roster first and the shell for Canvas LMS, both are outside my control.

After an increase in students who choose to not do anything, I used @CanvaEdu to design some new classroom posters. I needed something to frame the learning as lessons offered (aka taught), but students have to be willing to engage and try.

I started using @Kiva when teaching about microloans in Geography class. Now I let my daughter re-invest the credits kiva.org/invitedby/lisa… #microloan #kivalove

I've decided to use a Digital Teacher Planner this year. Of course I found inspiration on @SlidesManiaSM. I just changed the color scheme and customized the lesson plan layout to include a section for assignments and Canvas Announcements.
