Also CPU was not programmed to do tech recovery from combos.

@jav1ts To me the “I get to do this cool thing that only works on these 3 characters” is worth losing for “this matchup is bad because this doesn’t combo on this guy”, they actually changed this (for the most part) partway through strive.

I miss this type of stuff a lot.
Every new fighting game keeps standardizing hurtboxes so that most combos work the same way on all characters. It definitely helps with consistency but removes having to know cool character specific setups that allow for more expression.

The game is pretty much confirmed to die. This doesn't show confidence in the product, thus people back away and not spend time on it, thus it dies faster. They were dumb as fuck making an 8 button 2v2 tag fighter that rivaled MVC2 for stupid shit you could do in the game.
