@shaundeeb If that’s the case, he should take some time away from the solver and learn how to diversify his portfolio.

As sad as the dpeters story is I always laugh at all the comments crapping on hs mtt pros im going to guess his $ issues is way more likey to massive crypto losses not lack of poker winnings There is so much more honesty and wealth generated from mtts than anyone realizes than any other form of poker sorry its just the truth you are breakeven because you suck not because everyone else is also breakeven or worse

The PGA model and the poker model couldn't be further apart. In golf, sponsorships pay the pros to provide the entertainment. In poker, we pay our own buy-ins to become the product for the cameras. It’s a strange ecosystem where the entertainment is somewhat funded by the entertainers themselves. PokerGO and various series leaderboards are starting to bridge that gap with some money back, which is a nice change of pace, but true compensation for the value players bring to a stream is still the ultimate industry dream. This is obviously a little different from a cash game and a tournament also. In a cash game, a pro who found their way in is often just very happy to collect their (often sizable) hourly rate in a really good game. And I obviously know poker viewership is way lower than the PGA and most of the people doing the streaming aren't making money hand over fist from the streaming process, plus they have their own costs associated with the stream. I'm just curious if anything will ever change on this front.

It’s been a long time since I’ve bought a fan into @HUSTLERCASINOLA game. I am going to pick 3 people. 2 people who have had my back all year: @angfresh12 and @CodyBollinger . Third person will be a person who comments on this post by FRIDAY night PT. $5,000 each + airfare and accom. I am going to work with @TheRyanFeldman to protect the game more and make it more Rec players and smaller stakes so my winners can go home with some money.

@jeremyausmus I’ve been using it for my teaching job. I get work done 15 times faster and it’s better quality. For poker, I’ve created Gems for specific spots to drill. Good stuff.

I’ve been deep diving into Gemini and NotebookLM lately to organize a ton of stuff in my life. Using AI to take notes and summarize coaching calls. I've been able to add more value than ever. Same can be said for my own studying, it's really incredible. Side note: I have a couple of spots open for coaching.

Not gonna lie, staying at the top is a lot easier if you avoid the party scene and manage your bankroll. Talent gets you in the door, but discipline is the only thing that keeps you in the seat for two decades+

@daraokearney I finally tabled another Senior tournament in Reno. Do you have any other books focused on final table strategy adjustments specifically on ranges as players are eliminated? Thanks!

If you are ever looking to get out for a little fresh, thin air, just follow the rainbow. It will take you to the @PeppermillPoker in Reno. Their Poker Room is a 10/10. You won’t be dissatisfied. Looking forward to next year!

That’s great bro but the way you’ve done it almost everyone hates you… also silly when ur like 46-47 talking about all these edges when u haven’t figured out how to hold onto money yet.

Not a run. Not luck. This is what dominance looks like. While they were chasing heaters… I was building edges. 24 WSOP Circuit rings later — still printing. Different mindset. Different results. #MHPokerLab#Wsopc#HawksView#MauriceHawkinsPoker#HallOFFame

I really do miss pre-solver poker. Back then, everyone was in the streets trying things with no answer keys. It led to tons of pure exploits and incredibly interesting decisions. You actually had to figure out your opponent in real-time, which created so many distinct, unorthodox playing styles that you just don't see much in the modern game.

Most poker pros don’t start as journalists, yoga instructors & rappers. Brandon Wilson did all three! Northwestern journalism grad. Intern at Al Jazeera in Qatar (Where he almost got arrested…for wearing a sleeveless shirt on the way to the gym) 📽️👀 Now he has $11M+ in poker winnings. But that’s just the start: ♠️Former rapper in New Orleans ♥️Certified yoga & meditation teacher ♦️Started poker during COVID playing $10 tournaments ♣️Now battling in $125K high-stakes events Huge thanks to @brandonwpoker for sharing the story.

A man and his wife went out to dinner with friends and left his teenage tin with his youngest son and friends over to hang out. He decided to order a big pizza for the kids to enjoy while hanging out and playing video games, he sat the pizza down right in front of a lit candle. The youngest child opened the lid of the pox and got some pizza not knowing the lid was being burned by the lit candle they had in the kitchen. The boy sat down on the couch to watch some tv and enjoy his dinner while the pizza box began to be enveloped in flame, he went back for another slice and noticed the fire and put it out with some bottled water. The boy immediately called his father and told him what happened, his older brother stuck up for him and told his father that it was his fault for putting it so close to the candle. Was this truly the dad’s fault for putting the pizza by the lit candle or not even putting it out when he left?

@berkey11 Yes, this technology will massively disrupt the status quo. I vibe coded a Lowball poker training website with open range trainers and odds chart quizzes and an AI writing coach for my students…on my phone…fascinating. Check out Chris Camillo on YT.

Been messing around building with Claude and OpenClaw lately. First thing I made was something I actually needed. I've done 75 Hard a few times. It's great as a physical and disciplinary challenge, but those aren't areas I've struggled with in recent years. I've lacked in direction and focus beyond my daily routine. So I built The Rules of Engagement 30 Day Challenge (ROE-30) to improve my productivity, learn new skills, and maybe find a bigger purpose than check-raising tourists. If it resonates, give it a shot. Tag #ROE30 in your updates. Feedback appreciated. berkey11.github.io/roe30
