It has been wonderful to welcome our newly appointed Headteacher Mrs Dover to school this week as she starts her induction process. Mrs Dover has enjoyed meeting staff and students and is excited to start in September.

Congratulations to coach Mr Strover and the Year 7 Boys Football team who have won the Area Cup! They showed tremendous team spirit, resilience and an awful lot of skill and ability throughout the match and were the deserved winners of the competition topping off a great season!

42 of our talented students contributed to a wonderful Warhol inspired art installation as part of a community celebration of the upcoming Coronation. Huge thanks to Artist Sarah Charneca and The Cuttings for including us in this fabulous collaboration - it looks brilliant!

We have enjoyed the return of communion services in school this week - the first since the start of the pandemic in March 2020. Today was the turn of Year 8 who behaved superbly. Many thanks to St Robert's curate Nick Murray for the wonderful service.

The Year 9 boys football team have made it to the County Cup final! With a 4-1 win in their semi against Ermysted's Grammar School, they are now looking forward to facing St John Fisher in the final. Well done to everyone who played!

Thanks to all who exhibited and attended a packed Constance Green Hall for an inspiring Careers Evening yesterday. The feedback has been fantastic from parents and students alike and we were thrilled with the positive comments about our confident and proactive students!

Well done to Year 7 student Isaac for taking on the challenge set by his History teacher Miss Reynard to build this fantastic castle! Inspired by work on William the Conqueror and the Normans, Isaac took around a month to craft this castle using a variety of materials.
