In Maths, Year 3 have been practicing their multiples of 2. We began by counting forwards in 2's then went onto counting backwards from 100. Year 3 did an amazing job2️⃣🔢
In Geography, Year 3 have been learning about volcanoes. We saw our own eruption today! We thought this was an effusive eruption rather than an explosive eruption! 🌋
Year 1 have been loving learning about animals this half term. We consolidated our knowledge on whether animals were herbivores, carnivores or omnivores based on their diet. We have made a lift the flap answer sheet in our science books to test whoever looks in our books
Year 1 have been subtracting this week and one method we learnt to use to help us was counting back on a number line and/or a 100 number square. Great Maths Year 1!
Year 2 practised and performed the poem 'Chocolate cake' in English. The children used fantastic expression and facial expressions "mmmmmmmmm". Well done Year 2!

After watching Michael Rosen's performance poem 'Chocolate cake', Year 2 have eaten chocolate cake in English. Delicious! Then we worked in groups to describe the cake using our five senses. We wrote some brilliant adjectives to use in our writing tomorrow.
