This morning in Pre-School, we threaded materials through leaves, practiced scissor skills cutting out badgers, and finger painted the forest they live in, a fun mix of nature, creativity, and fine motor learning! 🍃🍁

🐔 Today in Pre-School we drew the character, The Little Red Hen, mixed our own bread with flour in role play, explored farm animals in small world play, and rolled out playdough loaves. A day of storytelling, creativity, and fun! 🍞✨#EYFSSEP @BCPP__ @BhamDES @OurLadyandAllS1

🌍 This week we explored the Creation Story in a hands-on way! Each day of creation came to life through different materials. We made watercolour paintings of the Earth and playdough models of God’s wonders. A beautiful blend of faith and creativity! 🎨✨ #RESep @BCPP__ @BhamDES

A Celebration of the Word that was very active in going forth! A group of year 6 planned and led a wonderful pupil led prayer about The Prodigal Son, after a time of reflection and prayer the children were challenged to work in teams as they answered questions using an OAA theme!

This morning’s craft was bursting with colour! 🌈 Our little artists made their own Elmer elephants by sticking patchwork onto recycled milk bottles 🐘✨ A joyful celebration of creativity, sustainability, and individuality—just like Elmer himself! #EYFS @OurLadyandAllS1 @BCPP__

Year 3 enjoyed their music lesson discovering what a ballad is. We learnt the lyrics to the song ‘Space Oddity by David Bowie’, drew a story board to match and thought about some actions that would fit to the lyrics✨ @BCPP__ @BhamDES

Year 3 listened to the story of the prodigal son, using role play to retell the story and convey the emotions of each characters. @BCPP__ @BhamDES

In Science, year 6 looked at the law of refraction. The class investigated and observed how objects or images appear to change as light passes through different materials. 💡💧

Great work this morning in year 6, looking at common factors and securing our understanding of factors of numbers.

Year 1 had a brilliant time exploring Coleshill today! 🏘️ They spotted old & new buildings, enjoyed a story at the bookshop 📖, and had a Babychino & biscuit at Costa ☕🍪. Great walking & lovely behaviour all round – well done, Year 1! @OurLadyandAllS1

Today Reception learnt about our class Saint, St. Therese ‘Little Flower’, and how she showed love for God through small acts of kindness. @OurLadyandAllS1

A lovely start to the week in our Celebration of the Word assembly. We all have distractions and have busy lives but the theme today was to focus on God for true happiness. We went forth with how we can show focus to God through our words and actions.

Nursery had made pizza this morning, following instructions and adding our very own toppings! #NurserySEP
