Liberal Democrat St George's ward councillors have been working hard with residents to protect and enhance our green spaces - from allotments and parks to historic squares:

Today marks the 120th anniversary of the Bakerloo Line. Recently we visited the London Road depot in St George's circus - the Bakerloo Line Extension is shovel ready and could unlock thousands of homes. But the Labour Mayor and Government have failed to deliver!

Keir Starmer wants to force everyone to have a digital ID. But the Liberal Democrats say that’s not the kind of country we should be. Instead, the government should focus on fixing real problems like the NHS and social care.

For #recyclingweek, Cllr Victor Chamberlain and Cllr Graham Neale visited Southwark's reuse and recycling centre to see how our waste is recycled. Latest government stats show Southwark only recycles 30% of our waste - the top councils are Lib Dem run!

Local residents are looking to us to challenge @Lambeths_Council's plans to impose road closures on @LB_Southwark's residents. We weren't involved in the design, yet our local council has handed responsibilty to a neighbouring borough none of us voted for.
