Now that Willenhall Train Station has opened, please do admire the artwork which welcomes passengers when visiting. Graffiti Art was created by Jack Sankson in conjunction with Year 4 pupils and it looks fantastic! Artwork reflects the town’s history and economic potential!

A LOUDfence is a way of showing care & solidarity with those who have suffered harm. Year 6 pupils thought carefully about their prayers for those who have been hurt and are hurting. We See You- We Hear You- We Stand With You. @StNewmanParish ✝️

British Science Week is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths that will take place between 6-15 March 2026 and we’ve got lots of Science planned…Next week Medical Mavericks will be in school with real life medical equipment for children to explore.

Thank you to 6S today who shared and performed their chosen poems in church, launching our Poetry Recital Season. One poem 'The River's Story' by Brian Patten was chosen to highlight UNCRC Article 24, (every child has the right to health, clean water and a safe environment.)🔵

There is a fantastic line up of events to celebrate World Book Day at St Giles. A celebration of reading, authors, illustrators and books. It has been designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading. Article 31 (leisure, play and culture)

Safer Internet Day 2026- a day celebrated all around the world. This year’s theme is Smart Tech-Safe Choices. Digital Leads will be presenting in church on Friday to share key Online Safety messages with the school. 🔵UNCRC Article 17 (access to information from the media)

Spring II Poetry Recitals: Each class will perform 3 poems of their choice in the following categories: 1.Performance action poem 2. Poem linked to the curriculum. 3. Choice-whole class/group/individual. Whole School Worship will follow. Please join us from 8.30am in church. ☕️

2S and 2G were treated on Friday to a wonderful performance of ‘Anansi the Spider’. Packed with live music, singing and dancing, Anansi The Spider was a magical introduction to the theatre! All thanks to Willenhall Library and Birmingham Rep. @WalsallCouncil
