St James students have been enjoying the Languages in a Global World talk this evening @UniofExeter with @FrankRGardner - absolutely fascinating! Thank you so much for having us and answering our questions!

@MarineAcademy @AllSaintsPlym We are also grateful to Headteachers at @MarineAcademy primary and secondary and @AllSaintsPlym as well as @LunnJon and Moira Marder for the opportunity to talk to them about the project!

So brilliant to meet with colleagues from @MarineAcademy and @AllSaintsPlym on Thursday to see the brilliant work they are leading in their MFL depts - thank you as ever for your enthusiasm and thoughtfulness. What a privilege to work together on this :)

Excited to meet up with other lead schools and the #NCELP team in London today and collaborate on some resource creation! Looking forward to seeing you all 🙌

This seems to be a quick and easy way to introduce students to a taste of TL culture - any more quick win motivational MFL hacks out there?!

We are also looking at ‘little wins’, preparing slides for display on our school screens with information about festivals and events celebrated in TL countries. QR codes link students to more information and activities to try.

One of our training events was thinking about motivation - we are gearing up to launch this year’s Spelling and Translation Bee competitions to Y7&8 after the break 🚀
