Year 6 were fantastic at exploring and changing variables using scratch this week, to create a maths times tables.

What an exciting morning in nursery the children have had, painting ,searching and tasting gingerbread men. A huge thank you to Mrs Barbara Robb Elliot for baking for the biscuits.#kindness

Year 3 have been learning about what to share online and created a diamond nine in computing this week. Some heated debates followed!

Year 1 have been investigating their senses in science. Today we were thinking about how important our sense of sight is.

Year 2 have finished publishing their English work inspired by our class book "The Man On The Moon"!😎

Year 6 have enjoyed exploring their new music topic all about film music. We started by discussing how different sounds make us feel and what sounds we associate with different themes and film scenes. They then used their knowledge to identifying different theme songs. Well done!

There were some amazing mathematical conversations happening in Year 1. The children had to decide whether the shapes were circles or triangles or not, it wasn't as easy as it sounds.

Year 1 have been using Numbots to practise their subitising.

The nursery children have been busy counting out 4 buttons to give to Pete the cat.

Year 1 have created an imaginative sculpture “a tree of life “ Demonstrating splendid paper shaping skills.

The Reception children have blown us away with their wonderful imaginations! So much imaginative play going on today! The children also told their own story using props during our Tales Toolkit literacy session 👏🏻

Our Year 6 boys recommending books to each other. Adam Kay's book Kay's Anatomy has certainly been a hit!

Year 2 enjoyed practising their rolls in P.E this afternoon.

Y5 are experimenting with different materials to classify if they are soluble or insoluble. Our topic this term is Properties and Changes of Materials.

It was too icy to go outside today, so Reception class brought the water tubes in from outside to race their cars down. The children then decided to find sphere shaped objects from around the classroom that they could use to roll down the tubes. Great job!
