@tommorris32 @1116sen @essendonfc @7AFL Amateur football club. Guy wasn’t even coaching at AFL level the last 3 years. Now 6 months after being put on the coaching panel by his best mate he’s going to be head coach? Nothing professional about any of it. Laughing stock of the league.

The expectation, pending his desire to do the role, is that Dean Solomon will be the interim coach at @essendonfc for the remainder of the season. Players arriving at the club in the next few minutes. @7AFL @1116sen

The Solomon/Scott working relationship is ordinary at best. Scott doesn’t rate Solomon, and Solomon, who has hardly presented to players this season, thinks Scott sidelines him. Not ideal for either party or players & staff who see the tension. @7AFL @1116sen

@7AFL Regressed under Scott and play with no passion or pride. He’s turned them into a sorry bunch. He’s an unlikeable dude and quite literally couldnt do any worse. Solomon would at least get them enjoying footy!

Give it 2 years or so when there’s no Marshall, Hilly, Wood, Macrae, Howard and Sinclair and Wilks are winding down. Dude will be 26-7 👌🏻

@MVallence90 @StKvsEverybody This is spot on. I’ve watched him closely at all the games I’ve been to. Couldn’t hide him in the midfield. Disposal and decision making sub par. Garcia Hall Wilson Pou all moved past him as mids in 11 games. And that’s saying something saying Pou is ahead of him as a mid.

@StKvsEverybody For a top 10 selection and the pay packet, you want a player with an a-grade ceiling...this isn't Flanders on exposed form. Garcia and Hall will lap him fast it seems. His kicking is the opposite of effective, hospital balls mostly.
