After six months away, it’s fantastic to be back with new cantor @OrlaReid5 for sung services @StMarysChelsea Join us for our second service at 1130am, either in person or online at churchservices.tv/chelsea1

With the organ @StMarysChelsea out for repair, this month’s voluntaries are being replaced by instrumental music, plainchant and recessional motets. Our choir will sing music by Lotti, Lassus and Byrd, and I’ll play 4 movements from Bach’s Cello Suite in G - this Sun from 1130am

Music @StMarysChelsea this Advent includes stunning Marian polyphony by Palestrina, Victoria, Lassus and Guerrero. We’re also looking for extra singers to join us (and organist Tim Byram-Wigfield) on Dec 24 for our First Mass of Christmas - do spread the word!
