Y3 have been busy creating 3D sculptures in art. They created 3D wire insects inspired by the work of Louise Bourgeois. By twisting & bending the wire together, they used paper to create the different body parts & then used joining methods to put it all together. #wiresculptures

Today, Reception visited @london_aquarium to link with their 'Under the Sea' topic. What a brilliant opportunity for them to experience the wonders of the ocean up close; they were mesmerised by everything they saw and utterly enchanted by the turtles 🦈🐠🐡🐙🌊 #enrichment

On Weds, Y3 had a Roman Day at the beautiful @lesnes_abbey. They took part in lots of practical activities, including role playing various Roman citizens. It certainly was a hit with the children, who have loved sharing recounts of the trip back at school. #enrichment #localarea

On Tuesday, Y1 & Y2 headed to Southwark Cathedral to explore the beauty of the building & participate in a puppet making workshop. They even found the St Michael's East Wickham stone while they were there. What a brilliant experience for our KS1 children to enjoy! #enrichment

Today was our Diversity Day led by our Anti-bullying Ambassadors, celebrating our 🏫's rich diversity. We learnt about different countries as well as sharing our own heritage & backgrounds. We ended with an after school tasting session of 🌎 foods made by our fab families & staff
