P2/1 will host a Book Tasting event in class on Thursday. If your child has a favourite book at home, they can bring this on Thursday and share why it is their favourite. P2/1 will have the opportunity to listen to, read and explore lots of wonderful books @SMPG1964

P2/1 have been learning about Lent and the Stations of the Cross. Today we worked together to order the Stations and had thoughtful discussions about each one 🙏🏻

What better way to revise number formation than heading out with some chalk while the sun was shining 🌟 P1 wrote numbers to 20 and then made their own addition calculations. P2 revised doubles and then challenged themselves to create calculations within 100 🌟

We headed outside to play some playground games with our mini clocks. We practised making and reading o'clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to. We then played What's the time Mr Wolf by setting the time on our clocks that was called out. Lots of fun in the rain!🌟

This group of P1 and P2 learners chose to step into the role of a child from the past to share their learning. They worked together to create a script, added costumes, and recorded a video explaining what life was like many years ago. Fantastic teamwork and creativity! 🌟

P2/1 were keen to use technology to share their learning during this expedition. They used iPads to record their video and worked together to decide on the edit. This video explains the fabulous treasures from the past that were shared with us for our project 🌟
