S1 have had an amazing start in the Health, Food and Textile Technology department. Lots of new skills developed during practical cookery lessons while the textile classes learned about fast fashion and the impact on the environment 🤩 ⁦@stninianshigh⁩

Mrs Morton’s S1 class absolutely blew us away with the model houses they created as part of the Energy topic. Pupils were tasked with building energy efficient homes. Let’s all take a moment to appreciate their efforts 🤩🙌🏼 @stninianshigh

Our Scientific Technologies pupils putting their boats to the test ⛴️ Engineering skills were extremely impressive on this task. All boats managed to float whilst holding a bag of sugar 👏 @stninianshigh @foundationdyson

Miss Baxter's 2H class got outside this week to consolidate their knowledge of electron arrangements. Each pupil drew the electron arrangement of one element & the rest had to move round & identify them. A great way to learn each other's names too! @stninianshigh @StNiniansLfS
