St Oswald's Catholic Primary School - Year 1

We had a very special visitor in school, @BTGymnastics Beth Tweddle, who came to tell us about her success as an athlete and talk to us about the importance of being active and showing resilience. Thank you so much for coming Beth!

1PF enjoyed their session at The Joseph Lappin centre, improving their football skills. The coaches taught us some animal names using sign language. A fabulous afternoon.

Money Week in Year 1. We explored Needs vs Wants and the benefits of saving vs spending. The children learned about the difference between needs and wants and important choices to make when spending money.

Year 1 have enjoyed using balancing scales in maths today.

Well done to all of 1NT this week for delivering a beautiful class assembly about Lent. Mrs Townley is proud of you all. ♥️

Liverpool coach tour #allyouneedislove

We had the best time exploring the sights of Liverpool and visiting famous Beatles landmarks. We love our city.

We enjoyed our Magical Mystery Tour trip around Liverpool today. We saw lots of the buildings we have been learning about in our art lessons and learned more about the Beatles.
