Thank you Year 2 for a special assembly about Pentecost. You read so well and your singing was beautiful.

Congratulations also to our Year 4 and Year 5 children who made their First Holy Communion last week. We ended the week with a special celebration Mass followed by breakfast together. Wishing everyone a lovely and restful half term.

What a wonderful and faith-filled week we have had. It was a real honour to be chosen to lead the Good Shepherd Service at Leeds Cathedral. Our Year 3/4 children sang beautifully, Year 5/6 readers spoke so confidently, and our brass band were brilliant — we are incredibly proud.

As part of their art project, Year 6 created shadow puppets of different creatures!😁

We had such a wonderful and prayerful time at Leeds Cathedral. Our school was chosen to lead the Good Shepherd celebration with Bishop Marcus. You can find the recording on YouTube. Here we are during our rehearsal before the service.

We have some chefs in the making in Year 6! We started off our Art & DT week with a Come Dine with Me afternoon - a 3-course meal made and enjoyed by all!😋

This morning Year One have made lovely shelters for their pebble friends in English. They then did some writing using expanded noun phrases and some children even included commas. Well done Year One! ⭐️

In RE, Year 5 have been busy creating some beautiful stained glass windows inspired by the resurrection of Jesus. Take a look at our display!

Year 3 really enjoyed their PE lesson this morning. They have been practising their cricket skills.🏏

Reception have had a fantastic morning at Lineham Farm. We went on a bear hunt and built a shelter to hide from the Highway Rat. We enjoyed a bonfire party too.

We crowned Our Lady today, sang hymns, and surrounded her with beautiful flowers 🌸 Thank you for sending them in. The travelling Rosary organised by our Mini Vinnies will be coming home — a special opportunity for you to pray this beautiful devotion together at home in May🙏

Our Collective Worship this morning was a wonderful start to the month of May. Thank you for all the beautiful flowers.

Our Year 4 Faith Friends are spending their lunchtime supporting Y2 in their prayer development.

Year 3 had a wonderful visit to Leeds Hindu Mandir. We learned so much about the Hindu Faith.

Mini Vinnies are busy this lunchtime. They are preparing our KS2 travelling Rosaries to celebrate May the month of Our Lady.

We are very excited in Reception because…. our caterpillars have arrived!! We can’t wait to watch them grow and see what they turn into! 🐛🦋🍃
