A messy day for Year Two making noodle salads, lots of grating and slicing skills practised, we even practised using chopsticks! They were very much enjoyed by all. #StSavDT

This week it was time for the second Yr1 group to start their lunchtime Wiggle Worship club with Mrs Bowman. They learnt the wiggle song and had a good old dance along to it before listening to a parable and taking part in a craft activity. There were smiles all round. #StSavRE

Y6 have been out collecting litter on the Church Yard as part of the 'Great Big School Clean' initiative. We filled our bags VERY full!! #StSavPSHE #GBSchoolClean

Yr2's science work this half term has been focused on habitats. Today they were finding out about woodlands. Mrs Bowman was impressed with their group work. Everyone has grown up a lot since Reception! Well done Year 2. #StSavSci

We had a visit from Red Tiger Karate Club in assembly today. The children should come home with a letter if they are interested in finding out more about the club.

Year 3 went litter picking on the park today! We found lots of litter and left the park looking much tidier than we found it!

There was a sunny theme to this weeks lunchtime art club. The Yr6 girls are continuing to do a great job with Reception. Well done girls. #StSavArt

Some of year 3 and 4 are having a free gymnastics taster session at Bolton Gymnastics Club. A great fun session and brilliant opportunity.

Class 1 were fantastic at litter picking this morning! They picked up much more litter than we imagined on the playground 🙂#StSavPSHE

Next Monday, 23rd March, the Environment Tribe have arranged a fundraising day for their gardening equipment, this will go towards gloves, tools, compost, plants and a new compost bin.

Year Two were very happy with themselves today on our local area litter pick. We headed back to school with a full 5 bags of litter, very proud of our local area clean up. #StSavPSHE

Year Two enjoyed their nappy powder experiment today- even though they got messy hands! The class loved the electricity ball and posed great questions in the thunder noise discussion. #StSavSci

Y5 have had a wonderful afternoon in our Sublime Science workshop making slime! #StSavSci
