And to struggle against military indoctrination all youth. I bet that the network of CS & STEM ed researcher connection to parents, teachers, and students could support a robust opt out campaign, & political education around US colonial and imperial projects & the ways schools

@BucciSays Done! I'm curious how you'll interpret some of these answers. I wish there were options framed outside of the Dem/Rep duopoly. The question about promoting democracy abroad--I wish I could have written a note! Democracy is imperative, but American pols use that as coded language.

This was a fun piece to contribute to. Clearly I'm part of the 'objectivity is a myth' camp, while I recognize that external perspectives can be critical reflection/inflection points. I worry that conflating external/objective discounts lived exp. w/in a system as valid knowledge

@BTwarek @AllisonScottPhD @KaporCenter Why would we expect otherwise when our national discourse talks about tech in terms of the US' competetiveness & nat. security? When the rest of the world is either a threat or subject of the US, doesn't leave much space for citizenship (in relationship w/, not domination over).
