@BalisticWhippet Silver's been money for >5000 years & over a dozen different languages still use "silver" or a variant as synonym for "money". The Western "fiat first" perspective is actually the odd man out here. The rest of the world looks at that picture and thinks "value" and "I want that"

I actually don't agree with this. You can make arguments as to why I'm wrong, but the point remains. Everything we think has values will only have value if someone else wants it. Until that point, it's not worth anything.

This pile of random #silver is special. It just sits there being shiny and sometimes its twinkly and sparkly. It doesn't make any noise and it doesn't jump around and do anything at all. It just sits there. I sure am glad I have it!

@antiquecoin_jp Toning is the wonderful, whimsical, often unpredictable result of an interaction between a microscopic layer of the silver's surface and (often) sulphurous compounds off-gassed by all sorts of things. Could be caused by sweat, acids in paper, fabrics... So many ways to tone! 😍

Serious stackers narrow to three. 10 oz—sweet spot, low premium, easy to sell. 100 oz—pure weight stackers, cheapest per ounce, harder to sell. 1 oz—highest premium, best for beginners. @goldeagleprice Check with a local coin/bullion shop first before going to any place like a pawn shop or jewelry store. An LCS that sells hand-poured bullion would likely have customers for this so they would be most likely to buy.
