Celebrated an anniversary yesterday by walking 5 miles around Tulsa in the heat of the day. A casual lunch where said walkers were welcomed in their natural state. Then took a nap so we could stay up well past our normal bedtimes for some live music. #BillyBobThornton #Boxmasters

Spent the day w/ College of Engineering & Computer Science leaders, faculty + a few student researchers. Their work and core facilities span four campus buildings + north campus research. Impressive interdisciplinary work, strong industry collaborations and great optimism.

Today is my last day in the law dean world. Cheers to my 4th graduating class of law students. Really fun to watch them grow + shine. @ASU stands alone as the nation’s most innovative and outside-the-box university. Clear mission, extraordinary scale, inspiring people. Thank you!

Really enjoyed spending some time this week at Tulsa Public Schools with Dr. Ebony Johnson. We are contemporaries with a shared passion for education and both products of the Tulsa region’s public schools (Muskogee and McLain). Looking forward to many future partnerships.

Occasionally, we find a roadside attraction along Route 66 that we have yet to explore. Today it was the New Mexico Mining Museum in Grants.
