Yesterday was an amazing day with @StaffsCSW and @StaffsRoadHarm who paid us a visit whilst we were out. A car, motorbike and a HGV which wasn’t supposed to be in the village were stopped Our local PCSO Lisa was also with us for support too on a very hot day. Below is our results

Speeds past a community speed watch and then proceeds to flash 💡and warn other motorists. Worth a chat by one of #Team3RCT we thought.💭 Turns out to be driving impaired and provides a positive drugs wipe. 💊 Talk about Karma! 🫢 That will be a cell for one then please 👍

it soon came to light that they also had no insurance! This vehicle was then seized ❌ Not a great day for the driver but a great result for Staffordshire Police! @StaffsRoadHarm #nationalcswday

One last update, for today😀 Whilst a PC from the Road Harm Team was showing support to one of our groups this afternoon, a driver was seen on their mobile phone! The PC left in a hurry on the marked Police Motorbike to stop this driver as they were committing an offence, however

Well where to start… what a fantastic day we have had with such an incredible turn out from our Police volunteers and Police officers all across the County. We couldn’t be more thankful for everyone’s time, effort, commitment and good spirit for today’s #nationalcswday !!😃

⭕️ An unmarked Police vehicle left in a hurry on blue lights from one of our sites to stop a vehicle and talk with the driver in regards to a public order offence directed to our volunteers. Such behaviour will not be tolerated and the great work from the PC proved this today!

⭕️ Deputy PCC Dave Evans, ACC Paul Talbot, Safety camera vans and SSRP staff, Road Harm Team on Motorbikes, Road Policing Unit in unmarked vehicles and last but not least PCSO’s all attended and supported our ‘day of action’

Some of the actions taken from Staffordshire Police today are; ⭕️ A number of warning letters (number yet to be determined!) will be sent out as a result of our amazing volunteers
