I hoped to show you my Christmas yarn today & yarn crackers instead of calandars (planned since June). Candy Cane & Jack Frost colourways in self striping sock. I was excited. Sadly we recieved terminal news, days not weeks, so I will be closed until further notice 1/2 #MHHSBD

@KnitsDee I'm so sorry for your loss and so recently. But absolutely agree and you just do the best you can while you can.

@StagYarn My dad died back at the end of April after a cancer diagnosis at the end of May. It was a week to a few months, and you realize that yes you want more time with them but you also don't want them to suffer for too long.

@KnitsDee Thank you, they're very appreciated ❤ Bit of a shock as it was a curative prognosis to not even weeks in 2 days. But we've done this a lot as a family so at least I know we can make them the best they can be.

Well. We lost nephew dog. Uncle is emergency inpatient after bad cancer news & hopeful treatment is now too dangerous so onto 'maybe' treatment. I'm back on high dose steroids. And my kettle exploded. I think I'm just going to bed. But like John & Yoko, for a fortnight 😑
