I need to stop treating Projects as Tasks when I plan my week. My "one thing to do" is typically seven things in a trench coat. And then I wonder why I'm so bad at time management. :(

With speaking, as with any other skill, it is not enough to focus on the desired outcome. That will not give you enough oomph to make meaningful, sustainable change. To achieve mastery you must fall in love with the process of refinement. You must find joy in the frustration.

Showing up consistently (and authentically) on social media is the most difficult challenge I have faced in my life. (Admittedly I haven't lived the most difficult life.) Perhaps 2025 will be the year I figure it out....

i dropped off the map with the public speaking coach i've been working with bc last month was insanely busy she's got a three day workshop coming up though that i want to help her shill because she's amazing "can we schedule a time for you to interview me?" "OH that's a great idea!! i can't believe i didn't think of that!!" "brooke it was your idea. you suggested it and then said you would forget, so i'd need to remind you sometime after November 5th" bahhahahah past brooke knows me so well 🥲 i wrote that in a snarky tone because it sounded funnier but she's not snarky at all, she's incredibly sweet and i'm excited to help showcase her stuff a bit more! i'm still recovering from whatever the fuck i got sick with, last couple days have only been able to get a tiny bit of work done but planning to dedicate real time to the practice in the coming months her twitter handle is @StageJoy, and pending my recovery i'll be livestreaming here on twitter with her this coming sunday at 3pm pt🥰 (intentionally burying that for anyone dedicated enough to actually read this far because i keep vastly overestimating recovery time and if i'm still this tired/foggy by sunday it might not happen)
