@StagsAnalytics @mesatrap Dwyer worked end of last season purely off the bench, he’s not got the ability to do the defensive side of the game Clough asks, like the other two, Clough’s sides don’t take passengers, otherwise they don’t work. They’re all good players, but don’t work in Clough’s system.

Only Lincoln (31) and Bolton (36) have conceded less goals than Mansfield this season (37), Stevenage have also conceded the same amount as Mansfield. 🧱 That’s a cry for a striker who scores goals that doesn’t get involved in the build up. #stags

@joelmarriott06 @mesatrap Dwyer is 35 and it worked towards the back end of last season didn’t it? You don’t understand my point, a striker who doesn’t get involved in the build up doesn’t necessarily mean they’re stood in the 6 yard box. We need a striker who doesn’t sit on the edge of the 18.

Blunt reflection on a very good day; We held the premier league leaders. The players are able to adapt to different sides. Big occasion and not one player looked shaky. Really positive attacking display against a “feared defence” Hope this sparks something in our league form🦌
