@timanrebel Yea! I’m building out an app now, and have a couple others in mind. I’m in the radix TGs too with a slightly different handle - what’s the best place to get in touch?

I need help testing a prompt 🙏 Are you thinking of building a product, I need you to try my No Ghost Towns playbook prompt. It's an interview style process combined with web research, looking into the problem you are solving, your ideal customer, their hurdles, competitors, and the potential market size. The result is a no-go / iterate / build advice. I have done a few iterations and need to learn if this works for other people as well.

Quick update, Radix fam 💙 Since last Friday, I’ve slowly started posting on the @Radix_ecosystem account as well, alongside my own. That means twice the work, twice the time, and twice the effort - but I’m doing it because our community deserves a strong, active voice. I’m really trying to push the X algorithm to notice our content and show Radix to as many people as possible. Your engagement helps a lot with that - far more than many realize. So I have one kind request: please don’t be shy - comment, like, and retweet posts from BOTH accounts. Every interaction boosts visibility and helps more new people discover what Radix truly is. We’re doing this for Radix, for our community, and for Dan. Let’s keep building together 💚 @radixdlt #radix

**Radix $XRD vs. Cardano $ADA: A Concise Blockchain Comparison** ✅✅✅✅✅🧠🧠🧠🧠🧠 Let’s dive into the core differences between **Radix ($XRD)** and **Cardano ($ADA)**, two leading Layer-1 blockchains, examining their tech, programming languages, strengths, weaknesses, and which stands out as superior. 🚀 --- ### **1. Core Mission** - **Radix**: Built for **DeFi scalability**, Radix aims to process **millions of TPS** to power global financial systems with secure, developer-friendly tools. - **Cardano**: A **research-driven blockchain** targeting a secure, sustainable platform for DeFi, governance, and real-world use cases like identity and supply chain. **Key Difference**: Radix focuses narrowly on DeFi, while Cardano’s broader vision spans multiple industries, potentially diluting its focus. --- ### **2. Programming Languages** - **Radix: Scrypto** Built on **Rust**, **Scrypto** is a **DeFi-optimized**, asset-oriented language prioritizing **security** and **simplicity**. Its **atomic composability** ensures seamless, hack-resistant smart contract interactions. - **Pros**: Developer-friendly, secure, DeFi-tailored. - **Cons**: New language, smaller developer ecosystem. - **Cardano: Haskell & Plutus** **Haskell** powers **Plutus**, leveraging **formal verification** for **bulletproof smart contracts**. Its academic approach ensures reliability but slows development. - **Pros**: Unmatched security, stable code. - **Cons**: Complex, steep learning curve, limited developer base (~400 vs. Ethereum’s thousands). **Key Difference**: Scrypto’s simplicity accelerates DeFi innovation, while Haskell’s rigor suits high-stakes applications but hinders accessibility. --- ### **3. Scalability & Performance** - **Radix**: Uses **Cerberus**, a sharded consensus protocol, enabling **unlimited linear scalability** (theoretical millions of TPS). It processes transactions **10x faster** than Ethereum without compromising decentralization. - **Cardano**: Employs **Ouroboros**, a proof-of-stake protocol, with **Hydra** for scalability. Current TPS is ~250, with Hydra promising **1M TPS** (not yet fully implemented). **Key Difference**: Radix’s sharding delivers superior scalability today, while Cardano’s potential relies on future upgrades. --- ### **4. Governance & Ecosystem** - **Radix**: **Centralized development** with a clear DeFi roadmap. Its ecosystem is young but growing, with ~50 dApps and $200M TVL (as of 2025). - **Cardano**: **Decentralized governance** via Voltaire, empowering $ADA holders. Its ecosystem boasts ~1,000 dApps and $500M TVL, driven by academic partnerships. **Key Difference**: Cardano’s mature governance and ecosystem give it an edge in adoption, but Radix’s focus may yield faster DeFi growth. --- ### **5. Pros & Cons** **Radix**: - **Pros**: Scalable, DeFi-optimized, secure Scrypto, fast transactions. - **Cons**: Immature ecosystem, limited developer adoption. **Cardano**: - **Pros**: Secure, research-driven, broad use cases, growing ecosystem. - **Cons**: Slower development, complex coding, scalability not fully realized. --- ### **Which Tech Is Superior?** 🏆 **Radix** excels in **DeFi-specific scalability** and **developer experience**, making it the go-to for financial applications. Its **Cerberus** and **Scrypto** combo positions it to dominate DeFi’s future. However, its ecosystem is still nascent. **Cardano** shines in **security**, **governance**, and **versatility**, appealing to institutions and diverse use cases. Yet, its complexity and slower rollout lag behind faster competitors. **Verdict**: **Radix** takes the crown for **DeFi-focused tech** due to its scalability and simplicity, but **Cardano** remains a strong contender for broader, long-term adoption. The choice depends on whether you prioritize DeFi speed or universal applicability. 🌟 **What’s your take?** Let’s discuss! 👇 #Radix #Cardano #Blockchain

@pizzadren @radixdlt @Adam_XRD Initial feedback from community devs was that the code was even higher quality than expected, given Dan’s own humble public level-setting/self-critiques beforehand

@gilesmorris The team is also looking next at technical leadership, but that understandably takes some time

I have the following questions. The longer they are unanswered the more likely I am to sell my xrd. I'm not a whale .. I have about 7m xrd ... 1) Why can't cassandra be open sourced? a) it doesn't pass scrutiny; b) the secrecy is required to protect IP/competitive advantage (and we need some compelling reasons here in my opinion - Dan may have been the road block to open sourcing because this was always his baby). c) because the foundation doesn't own the IP. 2) Who is going to stand in Dan's shoes? a) someone within the radix foundation b) someone outside the radix foundation c) if the code was open sourced this would be less problematic because the community/external devs would be all over it. But it does raise the possibility of some entity hard forking the network; 3) Can the network be sold as a private/public chain to a third party? I don't think it's business as usual without Dan because I don't see an effective leader within the foundation. If the current status quo is maintained for too long without adequate answers to these questions then, in my opinion, the network will slowly wither and die, regardless of how good the tech currently is ...

.@Adam_XRD ... its time. Make @NFTMachinist CMO. Man was on it today, saw the opportunity, racked up the space asap. He's reactive, eager, bullish and a talented presenter. Stop looking outside the eco for talent when you have so much (already 'radicalised') talent within.

Man, Lending Markets Don’t invent APY out of thin air. It’s not based on inflation, farming rewards or a token minting to “sustain” anything. The APY you see is 100% market-driven, it comes from borrowers who are paying real interest to take leverage. So if there’s 60% APY on USDC right now, it’s not magic: it means that users are borrowing USDC and paying high rates for it. Why would they? Because they’re deploying it into something they believe will earn them more, often yield loops with $XRD or $LSULP, etc

It really doesn't get any better than this!!! "The audit team repeatedly coming away impressed with the defense-in-depth security philosophy and strong ownership guarantees." "(Zellic attempting) an unpermitted action by injecting a scenario which bypassed an expected authorization check at a higher level (would cause them) to discover that it was impossible as no layer trusts the layer above it. “It is a very clean and simple system, and it is incredibly difficult to introduce access-control issues through user error.” "Any security measures (such as not allowing users access to accounts that they are not authorized to access) are implemented at a blockchain level." "This makes it absolutely impossible for any implementation level issues to arise out of user error." A flash loan is difficult to safely code and validate on other networks, “but in Radix it is a straightforward exchange of resources, with clear intent and security guaranteed by the ownership rules themselves" Radix Code Audit by Zellic | The Radix Blog | Radix DLT radixdlt.com/blog/radix-cod…
