@mar5hallhoops totally agree, the whole world knows the structure and scheduling of high school hoops. theres no way that you as a parent or family plan through that.

Am I wrong to think it’s crazy that varsity basketball players left their team to go out of town for the holiday season and missed practices and games. Is that not some wild shit???

@tf1smith no doubt,no better way of progression and learning than working up to gamelike situations. Also getting an idea of how yours guys will respond.

@StampedeStanco Agreed. Usually how we progress, 1vcone, 1v1, 1v2, then we see if it translates to games. Glad to hear most people are doing the live situations at some point and not just hopping from cones to 5v5. Definitely feel some kinda of middle ground is needed.

Coaches Tap In! What are your thoughts on skill development against cones?!? I think it’s great as early steps for new skills or a warm up, but man cones don’t play no D. I love going 1v0, 1v1, 1v2. Used to have my guys going hard on the cones, but we’d have 15 TOs at half 😂
