Yeah, and reality moved on. Kosovo declared independence in 2008. Over 100 countries recognized it. It runs its own government, borders, elections, security. Serbia doesn’t control it. UN language still reflects an old situation because Russia blocks any update. That’s politics, not proof of control. So you can quote paperwork all day. On the ground, Kosovo is not run by Serbia

Latvia is heading toward one of the bleakest demographic futures in Europe. The country’s population is forecast to collapse to around 1 million people in the coming decades. In the not too distant future, there will be just 1.5 working people supporting every pensioner, down from nearly 3 today. This catastrophic shift will crush the pension system. Pensions will become miserably small, and taxes will almost certainly have to rise sharply to keep the system afloat. Officially, the average pension in Latvia is around €600-670, but in reality many pensioners receive far less, often no more than €150–300 per month. At the same time, prices in the country are roughly twice as high as in Russia, while utility bills are three to five times higher. In winter, heating costs alone can easily hit €300 or more for many households. In short, Latvia is turning into a grim place for retirees, tiny pensions, sky high living costs, and an ever shrinking number of workers left to foot the bill.

Germany just quietly passed a Military Service Modernization Act - infrastructure for mobilization. Every German man born on or after January 1, 2008 is now legally required to: - Complete a government questionnaire about their physical fitness and willingness to serve in the military - Undergo a mandatory medical examination Women receive the same questionnaire. Completing it is optional for them. For men, it is not. So what does this actually build? A national registry of every military-age man in Germany, their health status, their address. The infrastructure for mobilization. We've seen this before. Ukraine had voluntary military registration too. Then February 2022 happened. Within days, men aged 18-60 were banned from leaving the country. Those already outside the country required to come back if they need to renew their passport. Many choose to end up basically stateless. They can't even apply for citizenship by investment, considering their first passport is expired and impossible to renew. Get your Plan B passport before you need it.
