Yesterday year 3 had a visit from staff at HSBC, they took part in a workshop on Making Wise Choices. Children had to make some tricky choices between items they NEEDED and WANTED to take to Antarctica on their Expedition. Unfortunately they couldn't take any electricals.

Third task - Continuing to make our Volcano sculptures! This task has seen us all get a little bit sticky with the PVA glue and newspaper! I cannot wait to see the finished results next week!

Second task - We planted our Sunflower seeds ready to observe and record how they grow! After learning all about plants in science, year 3 now know all of the things plants need to grow! I look forward to seeing how tall we can get them in our class homework challenge!
