For Christmas of 1985, Christi sent me a card with a sweet message and this photo. We had met at the beginning of Fall quarter of 1985 at Auburn University and really hit it off from the moment we were introduced. Not kidding. She had the picture taken while on break from a job at the mall she had over Christmas break. As soon as I opened the card and saw the photo AND my sister explained to me the meaning of “XOXO” I knew Christi was the one. I called her as soon as I returned home from my grandparent’s house and expressed my love for her which she reciprocated. We were married less than two months later, and I remain as happy as I could be. I’m still in shock that someone so cute ever had any interest in me. I definitely out kicked my coverage.

I do not want Britain to further become a third world slum packed full of imported young foreign men who can’t speak English, refuse to work, disrespect women and generally hate everything about us. I don’t care if they arrived on a dingy via Dover, or with a visa at Gatwick. A Restore Britain Government will remove them. We’ve all seen the acceleration over the last few years. We can feel our towns changing, our communities changing, our country changing. I don’t like it, and I know tens of millions of Brits are with me. Now is the time for all of us to find the courage to stand up and do something about it. Because I am entirely fed up of politicians outlining the problem without showing the balls to do something about it. Restore Britain has those balls. If you agree with what I’m saying. Then join us. Help us. Support us. There is finally a serious political party with a real chance of winning the next election that is on your side. Restore Britain. It’s our country. It’s our responsibility. We can do this.

🧵DC JURY POOL THREAD: DC students can't read. But they can convict. DC spends more per student than anywhere in America, $31,629/year. Most kids can't read at grade level. But DCPS found the time to make progressive activist training mandatory for every student, grades 6-12. Those students become DC jurors. Full receipts below. As always, patience as I pull together the thread. 👇

The whole “God told me” and “still, small voice” rubbish has made the Christian life a lot more complicated, and goofy, than it needs to be, especially for new believers. FUN STORY Christi and I were fairly radical unbelievers and pro-abortionists when we met (and instantly started dating) in the Fall term of 1985. After the start of Winter term we randomly went to church on January 12, 1986. We were overcome with a longing to learn all we could about this Jesus and good news we had heard from the pastor. We purchased bibles and Christi, as an unbeliever, bought me and her a copy of John Stott’s Basic Christianity. Two days after that we conceived our son. Another two days later, after reading the Bible and Stott’s book around the clock, we became believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. That night we talked about our relationship and we expressed our desire to get married, a kind of mutual marriage proposal. As baby christians of only a few hours, we had already been exposed to the continuing revelation nonsense so we discussed the need to find out WHEN God would have us get married. We didn’t know much but we knew we should stop having sex. So the 14th was our last time. The following Sunday, the pastor preached about the evil of abortion. Fast forward a couple of weeks and Christi missed her period. Hmm. Things suddenly got very interesting. We went to the Auburn University infirmary for a pregnancy test on February 7. We eagerly awaiting the results. The nurse came back to our room to deliver us the news that Christi was pregnant and we shouted with joy and said “Well, it seems God would have us get married now.” The nurse said she had never seen a couple so happy to find out they were expecting. We were married eight days later. Natural revelation (something we had never heard of) taught us that when a girl gets pregnant, the guy doesn’t abandon her but rather he marries her. We’re so very glad we did what we knew was “the right thing.”

ICYMI: Dr. R. Scott Clark explains why we should look to nature and wisdom rather than seeking special revelation for everyday skills and sports. He argues that while Christians play sports, there is no uniquely "Christian" way to perform athletic maneuvers like handing off a football. @KatTimpf I’m a little high and when I read “Locals” it registered in my brain as OnlyFans. I was SHOCKED to say the least and wondered what in the world you were thinking. Then I read it again and got a good laugh at my silliness.

Blacks commit murder* at 7-8 times the rate of whites. They make up a small minority of the population yet manage to commit over half the country’s murders. However, if one watches the news he hears that it’s whites out there doing all the killing, even hunting down black folks like dogs. Whites are the dangerous ones. Why must the media continually lie? It’s almost like they’re the propaganda arm of the race whores who see a racist behind every tree. There is a HUGE problem in the “black community” no one wants to talk about. Whites are scared of being called racists. I don’t know what blacks are thinking about it. And democrats and race whores (generally one and the same) blame black violence on whites’ racism. It’s madness. * Fill in the blank with whatever violent crime imaginable.

Generally speaking, I don't trust people who want to control my life and the lives of others. Christian Nationalists are a bunch of power-hungry, megalomaniacs. Also, their ideas completely lack biblical warrant. As such, they cannot be trusted and are worthy of extreme mockery. I suggest they find a new hobby for their proposed Christian prince.

CN is an online, image and aesthetics-driven movement. This is just the sort of reckless ecumenism to which we have referred and which will always be required by "Christian princes" and princelets.

If you don't know why this is not good, we can't help you. Image-driven movements cannot resist violations of the biblical prohibition on images of deity. Government agencies cannot "reflect." It is not the job of law enforcement/military agencies to "promote the true religion."

Andrew, several things: 1. Regarding Burk Parsons, you’d have to ask him. That said, as a member of the Central Florida Presbytery he is subject to their discipline. 2. Regarding the three “excommunicated” former members of SAC, the disciplinary actions were ruled invalid by both the churches they subsequently joined AND the Central Florida Presbytery. 3. Common decency and fairness would consider invalid any disciplinary action by a church that voted to leave their denomination and be an island unto itself and thus avoid accountability for itself.

@StanChristi1986 @ZimaInFlorida Yes sir. Following the precedent set by the PCA on Tuesday, leaving a denomination is a valid means of escaping church discipline. So Burk, by this logic, could simply leave the PCA and go back to his regular duties at SAC, but he hasn’t. Why?

A Public Statement of Central Florida Presbytery on the Excommunication of PCA Members by an Independent Church: Wednesday, April 1, 2026 On December 14, 2025, Saint Andrew’s Chapel (SAC) voted to leave the Presbyterian Church in America and become an independent congregation in accordance with BCO 25-11. Indictments and judicial cases initiated “in the name of the PCA” (BCO 31-4) properly belong to the courts of the PCA. SAC no longer possesses authority within those courts to adjudicate such cases. As an independent church, the governing board of SAC is no longer subject to the oversight of the PCA’s higher courts of appeal and is not authorized to adjudicate indictments issued in the name of the PCA. On March 12, 2026, the governing board of SAC improperly excommunicated three members (Ruling Elder David Zima, Drs Stephen and Heidi Nichols) in good standing in PCA churches within Central Florida Presbytery (CFP). These individuals resigned their membership from SAC on December 14, 2025, and were subsequently examined and received as members in their respective PCA churches within the CFP. They are members in good standing, admitted to the Lord’s Table, and welcomed into the fellowship of God’s people. Central Florida Presbytery deems these excommunications improper, disruptive to the peace of the Church, detrimental to those under our pastoral care, and without ecclesiastical effect within the Presbyterian Church in America. Adopted by the Central Florida Presbytery at its 201st meeting, March 31, 2026. Donald L. Mountan Stated Clerk of Central Florida Presbytery Presbyterian Church in America

Officially credentialed Pentagon press corps as of today, alongside my interpreter @DataInterpretr. First Deaf journalist to hold the badge. Thank you @JoelValdezDOW for moving mountains to make this unique arrangement possible. Naturally, the legacy media is invited to congratulate the Department of War on their commitment to press corps inclusiveness. This wouldn't have been possible without you. Every $3 subscription and every engagement opened this door. Now I'm going to use it. Military institutional capture research starts today.

The congregants have no one to appeal to except the people whose actions would have necessitated an appeal. THAT is a cult. You are apparently comfortable with such cultic practices. Noted. By the way, the elders being accountable to God is laughable in the absence of men who can hold those men accountable. How does that provide a check on those in power? It doesn’t. God rules his church through men, and those men aren’t an island to themselves. At least they shouldn’t be. Let the rational mind understand.

I'm a fan of ministries and leaders that are true to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. All sessions and others in church leadership are accountable to God. I'm comfortable with independent churches that are grounded in Scripture for that reason. I rest in God's sovereignty over the church and all else.

Perhaps you should look up the definition of "cult." I must say, you seem more like a fanboy of SAC than one interested in the truth of what is clearly happening there. For starters, they chose to abandon the PCA shortly after uniting with them. One of the big reasons Burk Parsons gave for joining was accountability. And poof! Where are the members to go now should their pastors/elders get out of line? There's no one to appeal to except their own little, private group. Convenient for them, but hardly for the congregants. THAT is cultic, your protests to the contrary notwithstanding. merriam-webster.com/dictionary/cult

@StanChristi1986 They don’t deny the gospel and the other essentials of the faith. Being nice isn’t relevant whatsoever. SAC is not a cult.

@Acyn That woman is evil and does NOT speak for God. And those other men there agreeing with her are a disgusting sight. They should know better that to be caught up with her hogwash. They are a disgrace. I wish @POTUS had a few men around him who had even a modicum of discernment.

Harsh? You have got to be kidding me. Just because you disagree with me doesn’t make my words harsh. There are definitely some very nice people there, but that doesn’t mean they get a pass for acting like a CULT. That’s no harsher than calling Mormons a cult as they have some very nice people as well.
