@Heatonstan And then a bonus shot of UK Cyclocross champion Cameron Mason lifting the trophy from January at a muddy South Shields velodrome. Hopefully not the only trophy lifting shot I get this season!

@Heatonstan Fnally, I was tickled by the massed ranks of Stan bobble hats at Newton Acyliffe, so I bided my time until they were all looking in the same direction. Match reporter Kevin Mochrie not wearing one adds a nice full stop....

@Heatonstan ... to Ben wheeling away, but you can see how difficult it is to get the exposure right during night games. Then Burnsy's in full flight at Blyth Town plus the long lens enabling me to catch a rare good one at the opposite end of the pitch. Loads going on in this one too

@Heatonstan Dale's out of focus in the first but I like the light/shade and it's a rare one when I'm well placed to catch the decisive moment. I love the one of Ben's goal against Bradford. Something's happening in every sector of the shot, from the keeper to the floundering defenders...

@Heatonstan Here's Burnsy in deep thought after the Pontefract game. I think the two of Dale show how he plays the game quite well: physicality, speed, and determination. Then Alex nearly receiving a boot to the head. I had to do quite a bit of post-processing to get this shot to work.

@Heatonstan ... like this one of Kailem Beattie about to head into the fray. Then two action shots, of a flying Alex Payne going all Bruce Lee at Dunston, and a fabulous winger's challenge from Konner Lamb, letting a Pontefract winger know that he wouldn't get a free ride

@Heatonstan I accidentally shot Sam Johnson's first Stan goal at 1/250th so it's technically a bad photo, but I like the movement it caught. I sometimes pop myself on the halfway line to get different sorts of shots...

@Heatonstan Brighouse, you'll see that this shot transforms a brief shrug into something else. That's the power of photography!

@Heatonstan I don't often get celebration photos, so Ben Milburn scoring his first for the club was a rare treat. I liked the contrast between Kane Evans and the dark stands, plus Alex Payne not enjoying the deluge against Grimsby. If you study the video of Konner's goal against...

@Heatonstan A couple of studies of the Legend Leighton Hopper. I struggle to get good shots of penalties, but this one was OK. Then a rare Hopper sliding tackle. Andy was delighted with his new training top at Brighouse, but not as delighted as me winning the golden goal raffle

@Heatonstan I enjoyed the sign at Hallam warning people not to swear; Dean and Andy look like they were taking heed. Then we have the Gordon family dogs looking like two veteran supporters, Dale Pearson's hat trick, and the massed ranks of the @stanarmy at that crazy game at Blyth Spartans
