As the day almost ends. This video is well worth viewing. A team, regardless of all build up to the game, who knew exactly what it meant that day.
Can’t wait for this time to come around again next year when we finish bottom 6 and Yengi is our player of the season.

@ARedPOV Spot on. Think about the amount of signings we are chucking from last year this summer. Lyon’s and Mayo may not be the ‘big name’ signings but those kind of signings have been ultimately useless for 2 seasons.

For next season I will be judging signings after they have at least played a few games. If anything the last few years has taught us, it's not to get hyperbolic over signings. Some look great on paper and do not work out — others don't and then do.

@keeza1903 Completely disagree. Having him for another year as a squad player is what the squad needs. We have so many players I’d be wanting rid of before Shinnie.
He knows he’s not gonna start every week but he loves the club as much as the next guy.

I sincerely hope that we remain far apart from an agreement and come the end of June he buggers off to Inverness.
Great servant and lived the dream but way past it now and no room for charity cases.

Aberdeen have offered captain Graeme Shinnie a new contract but both parties remain far apart from an agreement. His contract expires this summer & the Dons have offered a 2yr deal, which includes gaining coaching experience. Inverness Caledonian Thistle are monitoring.

Don’t think anyone had a clue how this summer will be. I’ll give Robbo his due he’s the first gaffer in years that actively calls out performances.
This squad needed a bollocking outwith the Cup last year.

Stephen Robinson has confirmed both Dimitar Mitov and Stuart Armstrong will undergo surgery this week and will miss the remaining two matches of the campaign. The pair will compete rehabilitation in order to be fit to return for pre-season in June.

@AberdeenFC 10 points out of last 4 games. First time in 3 years where we won 3 home games in a row with clean sheets. ST deserves alot of credit for getting us over the line. Deserves to be given proper support and resources to see what he can do next year.

@hankmardukis84 He’s had strings of games across the season and offered very little. He’s always offered more when paired with Nisbet, to give him due. Olusanya offers so much more. Lazetic struggles against defenders when the balls in the air or in behind. Olusanya is the opposite.

@StandFree_AFC i have absolutely no doubt Lazetic is a hundred times better than Olusanya, he just needs a run of games and some confidence. Olusanya's ONLY attributes are pace and effort, and thats nowhere near enough and we shouldnt be aspiring to sign these level of players.

To give Olusanya his due. I would rather have him 99 times than have the likes of Lazetic and Yengi. If we end up signing in next season would much rather a player with his work ethic be on the books than those mentioned above.

@IKieranConnolly Not necessarily what I’m getting at. More the reality if the next window. Many will be shifted again and if Robinson can bring in someone he’s worked with before who does something to offer and has the potential to improve, I’d rather take him than the strikers on our books.

@macphee_jamie Understand it shouldn’t be the standard long term but we aren’t going to be able to fix it all in one window. You need a squad to compete and the strikers on our books have all had stints and looked half arsed. Olusanya offers something completely different.
