A man has moved to court, seeking to compel the government to remove him from the terrorist blacklist, claiming that he has been going through untold pain for the last six years. In his case, Abdalla Abdlkadir Mohamed, who hails from Lamu County, has sued the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the Inspector General of Police, the Director of Immigration and the Attorney General, saying that since 2019, whenever he arrives at the airport or the border, he is stopped and referred to the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit (ATPU). ow.ly/9mOA50Z3PEt

UDA officials now say zoning in favour of ODM party will spoil President William Ruto’s chances of getting more votes in Nyanza region during the 2027 General Election. The officials argued that zoning will cause voter apathy in the region. However, their resolution contradicts the position of ODM party which wants zoning done in Nyanza, their perceived stronghold, as a precondition for a pre-election coalition pact with President Ruto. ow.ly/2V0t50Z3Pvj

He insisted the Kenya Kwanza administration will seek re-election based on its development record and service delivery.
