@cavernscceric Hi Eric- 400 lbs/ acre. It’s an 80/20 blend of rye and chewings by weight. It’s a 65/35 by seed count.

Fall cultural practices. Including double slit seeding with rye and chewings fescue. An essential part to the overall process and one of the reasons the tees and fairways have seen an improvement in playability and presentation.

Getting ready for the Women’s Intercollegiate event starting on Friday. It’s all about the details and the staff are crushing it along with some help from Graeme Cherry who painted the logo on 18 fairway.

This weeks activities

Course update. Cleanup is ongoing from debris left by the last storm event. Our YTD rainfall total up to 11.67”. Saturated conditions so no carts for the foreseeable future.

The golf course maintenance staff crushing it at the Siebel Varsity Training Complex today!

@spattyspat $6,000 per sensor. One gets mounted to a fairway mower so it scans as you are mowing. $800 per month for access to the data on the task tracker site. For us this will pay for itself over 2 months of watering during the summer
