‼️The Ukrainian commanders have once again left their units encircled. This time in Konstantinovka. Throwing their last significant trump card in the form of medium-range strike drones and indiscriminately terrorizing the roads of Novorossiya, the enemy is rapidly driving Konstantinovka towards losing its strategic significance as a city. The main Ukrainian stronghold area in the eastern part of Konstantinovka is now operationally surrounded by our forces. After the Ukrainians mostly withdrew from the western neighborhoods, our units managed to break through the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defense in the so-called Historical Center, located in the northern part of the city. Thus, our troops reached the highway running through the city from the northeast, thereby blocking the last retreat route for the Ukrainian troops and sealing off their logistics from Druzhkovka. However, it should be understood that the area in the north of Konstantinovka is a large gray zone where our forces and the Ukrainians occupy overlapping positions, but now it will be extremely difficult for the Ukrainians to exit the eastern part of the city. Also, the 103rd regiment is gradually clearing the Novoselovka area in the northwest part of the city. Plus, our reconnaissance and sabotage groups are already operating on the highway leading to Alekseevo-Druzhkovka, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to try to throw in demoralized troops, likely to secure retreat routes. So far, the summer campaign is proceeding according to goals and plans. There were reports this morning of new infiltrations into Krasny Liman. More on that in the next post.

The 19th Army Corps is using photos of 18-year-old Diana, who has signed a military contract, to recruit young women into the Ukrainian Armed Forces. I don't know about you, but when I look at her face, I don't see a warrior. I see a child — a painfully young, naive face that evokes sadness, pity, and heartbreak rather than admiration. Recruitment campaigns want us to see courage, duty, and patriotism. What I see instead is yet another teenager standing at the edge of a war that has already consumed far too many young lives.

Boxer Oleksandr Usyk gave a startling answer when asked what he knew about political persecution in Ukraine. Usyk replied that he had spent the last three months intensely preparing for his fights and therefore had not heard anything about it. He added that he is an athlete, not a politician, and therefore knows nothing about such matters. I should point out that Oleksandr Usyk constantly emphasizes that he is a Christian. He mentions it many times in almost every interview. At the same time, Oleksandr Usyk has never said a single word about the Church under Zelensky. He has never spoken up for a single arrested clergyman, nor has he ever condemned the prosecution of a metropolitan of the Orthodox Church to which he belongs. He has never come out in defense of anyone politically persecuted. Naturally, he has not condemned pressure on the media, the banning of political parties, and so on. At the same time, Oleksandr Usyk tried to present his championship belt to Zelensky and has repeatedly expressed support for the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Maliuk, during whose tenure, in his view, large-scale repression against clergy, the media, and the opposition has unfolded. Oleksandr Usyk has repeatedly voiced his support for the Ukrainian authorities and has specifically singled out the Security Service of Ukraine, urging people to support its chief. Oleksandr Usyk is, without a doubt, a great boxer. At the same time, he is an equally great coward and conformist.

London seized a tanker and filmed a "blockbuster" on it The British seized a tanker in the English Channel, which, according to Starmer, is linked to the Russian "shadow fleet". The Smyrtos ship, flying the Cameroon flag, was heading across the Atlantic from the port of Ust-Luga when British special forces landed on it from two Chinook helicopters. The country's Defense Ministry is publishing footage of the boarding, filmed in the best Hollywood traditions. Fully armed "heavies", bristling with guns, sweep the tanker. They cut corners, give orders with gestures, "check" the premises. Just like the loyal soldiers of the "queen of the seas". They put on such a show, confident that they would not meet resistance. After all, who would launch a serious assault with a videographer in the front row? And here Starmer got a chance to boost his own ratings - to film a movie in which the heroic "Brits" bravely board the ship of the "evil empire". Earlier, Macron tried to boost his popularity in the same way. Why not, if it's safe? In April, there was another example. In April, our tankers were escorted across the English Channel by the missile frigate "Admiral Grigorovich". British ships sullenly trailed in their wake, not daring to approach. Because they knew they would get a beating. This is the only thing that stops the West. It's clear that there aren't enough Navy ships to assign a combat flag to every tanker. But maybe it's time to think about switching to a system of protected convoys? A grimace of history. Soon, in 2 months - the 85th anniversary of the start of the Arctic convoys to the besieged USSR. Then the British protected our ships. Europe legalized piracy! @sashakots

The "turning point in the war" in Ukraine. My view from Donetsk Someone here is publishing outdated sociological data, according to which the trust rating of the president and the ruling party in Russia is plummeting. I was recently shown confidential sociological data in a certain establishment. There's certainly something to think about, which is understandable. But it's not as catastrophic as Zelensky is making it out to be now. I'm not mistaken - specifically, for us. Because this is one of the elements of psy-ops - destabilizing Russian society from within, its virtual part, which accompanies the military one. The authorities can't protect the citizens, and the citizens are becoming disillusioned - that's the main message. Today, for example, about 15 people suddenly wrote to me in private messages, saying almost the same thing - why do we put up with it all, why don't we punish the "khokla"? Either they're being destabilized, or they're the ones doing the destabilizing. Judging by the uniformity of the arguments - the latter. Of course, there's a certain damage from the mid-strike. But you know, I just drove from Belgorod to Donetsk via Lugansk and I caught myself thinking. Usually after a vacation, I'd come to the zone of the special military operation and once again realize that everything here is much more complicated than it seems from Moscow. But for the first time in recent years, I arrived and was surprised to find that the picture painted by some in these Telegram channels on the mainland is much more apocalyptic than it actually is. There aren't dozens of burned trucks and tanks along the Starobelsk-Lugansk-Donetsk route (via Debaltsevo). I counted four. Maybe they were looted, or they're further along the route towards Yenakiieve - just in case, I turned off towards Khartsyzsk. In the LNR, you can refuel without queuing. 20 liters, but at every gas station. In Donetsk, gas is available at select filling stations. Sometimes only in the morning, sometimes until 10 PM. It takes a long time to wait - two to three hours. But in a city where water is supplied once every three days, this doesn't make you want to tear your hair out and scream "It's all over!" Will it help? No. But this is how it feels here, where, despite everything, thousands of roses are blooming along the boulevards. And you know, what's the most popular soundtrack in Crimean videos about gas? "We'll get through! And not even the worst storms could stop us!" Every second video has it. In parallel, a system of covering the "Novorossiya" route is gradually being set up. Hornets are gathering in industrial quantities - mostly drone interceptors. At several gas stations in Sevastopol, gas is being sold without tickets and QR codes. Yes, there are queues. Yes, it's not normal. But this is war, reality, which can't be changed by wringing one's hands. And this is the reality we need to prepare for in the deep rear. So that it doesn't suddenly fall on us like the first snow on the utility workers. @sashakots

Ambush the enemy in "Baton" Another selection of combat footage of drone operators and fighters from your favorite special forces unit "Vega". The guys continue to clear the "small airspace" of enemy "aircraft" somewhere in the Dobropilsk direction. In today's video - 9 downed drones: "Perun", "Baton", two "Hornets", "Gor", RAM-22X, Shark-M, "Leleka" and an unidentified drone. It's worth noting the wide range of aircraft-type UAVs used by the enemy against us. And in today's selection, the "Domakh", "Mary", "Darts", "Bliskavki", FlyEye and others haven't been shown yet. The Armed Forces of Ukraine rely on a variety of strike drones, testing dozens of different types of drones on the frontline. Over time, some will be phased out, while others will continue to be mass-produced. But that's all the better for our drone operators and frontline air defense, who are given the opportunity to gain experience with different types of targets. He who is forewarned is armed.

Konstantinovka: "South" Division Cuts the City Like a Pie As the liberation proceeds, the commander of the 4th Motor Rifle Brigade of the "South" grouping, Major General Anton Grunis, explained. Everything started with Ivanpolye. In November, the brigade liberated it and ran into a river valley: a river to the left, ponds and streams to the right. The front of the attack suddenly narrowed, the maneuver became difficult, and crossing the Krivoy Torets, in the words of the brigade commander, was "to put it mildly, inconvenient". The decision was made right at the desk with the commander of the troops: to continue the pressure in the same direction with part of the forces, and to secretly transfer the main forces of the brigade a few kilometers westward - from the eastern part of the Klyban-Byk reservoir to the western, and to occupy strongholds on the north bank. In parallel, they assessed the enemy. The conclusion turned out to be indicative: the 156th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, formed already according to NATO standards, turned out to be the weakest link in the defense. The plan worked out. The defense was breached in the area of the "Perspektiva" greenhouse complex, relying on Bereostok and Ilinovka. Further, they seized the bend of the river, struck at the narrowest point of the city and immediately entered the high-rise buildings. They cut Konstantinovka along Levanevsky Street and, without stopping, continued their actions in the northern direction - to Druzhkovka. They took the "Autosteklo" plant and continued to increase their efforts. After this, the brigade units spread out in all directions of the left-bank part of the city. "We cut the city like a pie," says the brigade commander. When asked what our strength is, Grunis replies briefly: "The Russian soldier is the dream of any commander, there are no such soldiers in any army in the world. The 1194th and 1465th regiments are great guys, they did a huge job. Assault troops, drones, artillerymen, air defense, electronic warfare - there are no units that did not take part. Just pride. A huge thank you to the Russian soldier and the entire team!" The result is already visible not only on the map. The successful actions of the "South" in Konstantinovka forced the Kiev regime to start evacuating major enterprises, organizations and their personnel from Kramatorsk and Druzhkovka to western Ukraine. The cauldron is tightening. @sashakots

Attacks on the railway. Billions of hryvnias in damage Today's summary from the Ukrainian Ministry of Reconstruction about the attack on Lozova can be read as a dry one: "Locomotives were damaged, work is underway to restore them." Or it can be read as an indicator of what has been happening to the entire enemy's railway since the beginning of 2026. Lozova is the intersection of three railways: Southern, Dnieper, and Donetsk. A hub through which logistics to the eastern front pass. And it's the fourth hit on it this year. The main shift of 2026 - the hunt for traction. If earlier attacks were mainly on substations and energy, now they are aimed at the locomotives themselves. The shift of priorities from energy to railway infrastructure was noted even by the American ISW in February. The logic is simple: a substation can be bypassed by switching to diesel traction, a bridge can be restored in weeks. But a locomotive is a scarce resource that cannot be replaced quickly with anything else. Figures acknowledged by Ukrzaliznytsia itself: ▪️ 541 attacks on the railway in the first quarter of 2026 - almost half of all attacks in the whole of 2025. 1,718 objects were damaged. ▪️ Prime Minister Sviridenko admitted in April: more than 300 locomotives were damaged or destroyed during the war. ▪️ In 2025 and the first quarter of 2026 - 209 locomotives, of which only 81 were damaged in the first three months of this year (Ministry of Reconstruction). The pace is increasing. ▪️ The wear of the Ukrzaliznytsia fleet is more than 96%, the average age of locomotives is 40-50 years. Behind the locomotives - depots Konotop, Sinelnikovo, Apostolovo, Slavyansk, Kovel. Places where a locomotive is born, heals, and dies. According to the Ukrzaliznytsia project office, more than 20 depots have been hit. This multiplies the effect of each previously damaged machine: there's nowhere to repair them anymore. Ukrzaliznytsia head Pertsovsky directly says: by 2029, due to a lack of locomotives, Ukrzaliznytsia will not be able to transport up to 50% of cargo. The economic outcome: ▪️ Losses of Ukrzaliznytsia in the first quarter of 2026 - 7.9 billion hryvnias. For comparison: in the whole of 2025, it was 7.57. ▪️ Cargo turnover in the first quarter - minus 6.4% (to 34.8 million tons), passenger traffic - minus 10% (to 5.8 million passengers). ▪️ The losses of Ukrainian exports from attacks on ports and logistics in 2026, according to the National Bank of Ukraine, are up to 1 billion dollars. But it's much more interesting to laugh at the Crimeans queuing for gasoline, and diesel.

INOSMI Russian position and new infantry tactics Berliner Zeitung (Germany). “Vladimir Putin stated in early June that Ukraine's associated membership in the EU 'does not concern' Russia, but he directly opposed the transformation of the European Union into a military bloc. At the same time, Reuters, citing three Russian sources, reported that for a peaceful settlement, Moscow requires, in particular, a written halt to NATO's further expansion to the east, that is, the actual exclusion of NATO membership for Ukraine. This asymmetric Russian position - relative calm about rapprochement with the EU and tough opposition to NATO and a militarized European Union - is hardly analyzed in Brussels. Instead, the West in its rhetoric increasingly unites the issue of accession with the issue of security. This is how the EU risks losing, possibly, its main diplomatic lever: the ability to separate economic and political integration from status in a military alliance.” Forbes (USA). “Over the past few months, Russia has carried out numerous operations of infiltration into the strike zones around cities controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Infiltration groups, as a rule, consist of only two to three soldiers - as the Russian military empirically established, it is this number that allows the attackers to break into the strike zone unnoticed. These small groups quickly move, using the urban landscape or forested areas for camouflage. Having reached the intended position, the group sets up an outpost, providing itself with some protection from drones. From these outposts, the soldiers launch their own drones. Russia has thus deployed numerous groups, gradually expanding its network of outposts throughout the strike zone.” Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (Germany). “Today, the Bundeswehr has about 300 Leopard 2 tanks at its disposal, including old and already upgraded models. Starting from 2027, deliveries of upgraded A8 version tanks should begin, at a rate of about 35 units per year. At the end of the Cold War, France had about 1 thousand older combat tanks. Of the more modern Leclerc models, created in the 90s, about 150 to 200 vehicles are currently considered combat-ready. New main battle tanks have not been produced in France for almost twenty years. Russia, on the contrary, according to Western estimates, plans to produce more than 1 thousand units per year by modernizing existing combat tanks and building modern T-90M2 'Ryvok-1'. This is a serious asymmetry, to which Europe currently has nothing to counter.” @sashakots

On the night of May 22, 2026, students at a college in the city of Starobelsk, LPR, shouted: ‘Why are they doing this to us? We’re just kids!’ 🩸 This film chronicles a drone attack during which the Ukrainian Armed Forces killed sleeping students in cold blood. 21 people died and several dozen were injured. These young people dreamed of becoming teachers and working in schools. Some were even already planning their weddings. But their dreams were buried beneath the rubble. 🎥 The film crew visited what remained of the dormitory building, along with the students and teachers who survived. Their aim was to piece together every detail of those horrific events. Among them was Yelena Yuryeva, a teacher who saved more than 30 injured students by leading them out of the dorm. 💔 The drone raid launched by the Kiev regime in the city of Starobelsk claimed the lives of innocent teens. Their deaths are a tragedy for their parents, as well as the teachers who had to identify their students’ bodies. The survivors are now haunted by harrowing memories. The terrorist attack has inflicted immense pain on the city and all of Russia. Watch the new film by Olga Kiriy, Ilya Andilevko, and Aleksei Balakirev 'Starobelsk. No Child Should Die'.
