Against Sartell, quarterback Avery Braegelmann completed 14 passes, among them touchdown strikes to Anika Maus, Allison Fielder and Eve Shaw. Others with catches were Hailey Klaphake, Abby Klaphake and Gabby Finken. Braegelmann and Hailey Klaphake both moved the ball with runs.

Melrose Area started its flag football season by posting wins over Sartell and Albany April 26 at Melrose Area High School in Melrose. The Lady Dutchmen topped Sartell 20-13 and won 18-13 over Albany.
