@smplykuro Tbf, I think it comes down to how the fanbase essentially seperated the two looks. Crimson X (Sonic but w bloody eyes) And 2012 X (ACTUAL sonic.exe) This art by my friend is a perfect demonstration of my point.

everytime i join an ASYM and see Crimson’s sonic.exe in the asym i hope he isn’t reduced to just being a silly guy. But everytime I check their crimson out he’s always just the sprite design with no actual personality from his poems or anything else. It irritates me icl
