I’m noticing a lot of foreigners who seem to not understand why we’d risk hundreds of lives, spend millions of dollars, and sacrifice several aircraft to rescue one guy. And the reason they don’t understand is also the reason people can’t be made American by a piece of paper.

US soldiers are being ordered to live in hotels and offices spaces instead of on big base so they’re safer from missile strikes. NYT says it’s a violation of “law of war” , this is exactly what Ukraine and Russia do , it’s the only way to really do distributed operations .

What a weird thing to lie about

I swear to Christ every account that keeps trying to scoop each other at the cost of this incident while people are trying to survive are gonna learn some hard lessons soon. Shut the fuck up and let the people do their damn jobs.

Should more golf courses do this? At Shanqin Bay, you will not be distracted by your phone. You won’t have a choice! Your phone is collected before the round. I am 100% in support of this. As someone who loves taking pictures, it was great to be completely disconnected and focused on the course and the people. We can all go 4 hours without contact. This was the founder’s wish and it lives on today and hopefully will forever.
