J'adore le vibecoding. Mais il perturbe complètement notre relation avec notre travail. Il faut tout réapprendre. Avant vous étiez fier de vous quand vous aviez produit en une journée même pas un dixième de ce que vos agents vous produisent en 1h. On pouvait fermer les ordis pour la soirée, la pause était méritée. Aujourd'hui, on s'arrête plus. On produit 100x plus vite avec la sensation qu'on peut toujours plus. Il n'y a tellement plus de friction que ne pas faire bosser vos agents semble être du temps perdu. Ça prend 3min de de la lancer sur une tache. Puis 3 min de checker que tout va bien. Puis encore 3 min de lancer une deuxième tache en parallèle. Avant on produisait jusqu'a la limite de nos capacités, on était satisfait du ratio effort/output, et on était aussi épuisés. C'était trois conditions qui nous faisaient converger vers un arrêt naturel. Le vibecoding a fait sauter les trois en même temps. Notre signal d'arrêt naturel a disparu. Dernièrement je sens au fond de moi que quelque chose déconne. Quand continuer ne coûte plus rien, comment on mérite encore de s'arrêter ?

@Themountainkin1 @le_Parisien 2018? L'annonce du land Roi lion à la D23 2024 ne compte pas? Le parc investie aussi constamment en rénovations et améliorations. Ratatouille est fermé pour amélioration technique et ajout de décor, l'hôtel Sequoia Lodge est aussi entré en rénovation en début d'année etc...

RE: Linux & Mac Support 🐧Linux: We are launching with Linux (x64, not ARM) support using flatpak. We are launching the native Linux and given the diversity of the Linux ecosystem, we are treating the Linux launch as "experimental". We have programmers on the team who natively work on Hytale using Linux, so expect support to expand and improve. System requirements should be similar to Windows - RAM requirements may be lower due to Windows usually hogging more memory as an OS. So all in all, you will be able to download Hytale for Linux, you will be able to install it and run it but chances are there may be some issues you run into that are super specific to your distro. We rely on reports to fix those issues. We have not tried and won't try Proton. Given that we don't do any kernel-level anticheat, you will probably be able to run it via a compatibility layer too but that's for the community to find out. One test was conducted on a Steamdeck with attached docking station (Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse) and got well playable results in local singleplayer. (Steamdeck is NOT officially recommended as there is NO CONTROLLER SUPPORT YET). 🍎Mac: We WOULD be ready to launch for native MacOS (Apple Silicon / M Chips) - however we are missing the signing certificate. The ticket keeps being reset in the queue and we have to keep calling them. System requirements are work in progress - we have tried it on M3+ at the moment and we are working our way back in time to find the lowest limit. We will NOT launch Hytale for Intel Macs as Apple themselves abandon them in the next MacOS version. We are a small team and there is no way we can support abandoned platforms. So for Mac, we use it internally to play on and even work on it but ultimately we have no way to ship it without the certificate. As soon as we have it, we will update you. We will update the requirements on blog & store in the coming days.

All of your burning Stargate questions...deftly sidestepped! The news broke last week and the response has been huge. Not bad for a franchise that aired it’s last episode 14 year ago. The fans, of course, had a lot to say. There was excitement, jubilation, relief, cautious optimism, certain trepidation and, naturally, questions. Lots and lots of questions. Where will the series shoot? Will we see any familiar faces? Are we going to find out what happened to Destiny and Atlantis? Does the Goa’uld hand device work for left-handed people too? Well today, I’d like to address these questions by telling you I am unable to address any of these questions. For a few reasons. First, word of the new series just broke last week and I’d like to allow the revelation to settle for a little while. Savor the news as one would the decanted essence of a 2011 Leroy Musigny Grand Cru, that peacock-tail of purple flowers, rose petals, and wild strawberry kawooshing across the tongue and disintegrating on the palette like the third shot from a zat. Let’s appreciate the enlightening fullness of the moment. Second, there will be plenty to reveal, and this is something series creator Martin Gero very much wants to do…in time. We have a long runway between now and the premiere, so rather than front load all the details off the top, I think it makes more sense to reveal information over time in a consistent and gradual build as we progress through prep, production and post. As Martin said, he doesn’t just want to make this announcement and then go dark for months on end. He wants the fans to be informed in a way that makes them feel like they are part of the process in as close to real time as possible. Third, this is Martin Gero’s show, both literally and figuratively, so he’s going to be leading the charge here. He’s earned that right – and also is in the best position to coordinate with Amazon and the various media outlets. Of course that’s not to say you can’t rely on me for my trademark behind-the-scenes photos, videos and insights on everything from writers’ room lunches and wardrobe fitting mishaps to disoriented accounts of getting lost in the woods during location scouts or reports of anxious producers visiting set for the first time and inadvertently walking off the edge of a ship set to face plant on the studio floor while main unit is rolling in the adjacent infirmary set. All good stuff that we will get to. Eventually. Fourth, we’re in the very early stages, so there’s not a huge amount to reveal that I wouldn’t classify as spoilers. But as things ramp up, I guarantee that more information will be made available in an increasingly fast and furious pace. You will be one of the most dialed-in fandoms in sci-fi history. Fifth, I honestly have no idea whether or not a Goa’uld hand device works for left-handed people too? I mean, I assume it does. Why wouldn’t it? What do you think?
