Here’s the fact: There’s no apps. Much less apps in the Cosmos where you can manipulate USDC with any certainty that you will be able to access those funds a month from now. And aside from the NFT space, crypto in general hasn’t solved any problems that aren’t more readily solvable without crypto. And nobody (including me) seems smart enough to come up with an idea that will save us.

Cosmos Labs has turned Cosmos into a ghost town. They came in with the expressed intent of “killing the old Cosmos” but failed to present anything remotely interesting to replace it. There’s so much exciting stuff happening in the world right now. Privacy, Sovereign AI, End of Pax Americana. The time for cypherpunk crypto is now. But instead ATOM has pivoted to enterprise sales. A billion dollar market cap for what is now effectively a consulting dev shop. And that too, one that hasn’t even been able to land any deals of note.

The Spirit pilot group is one of the best I’ve ran across over the decades. I’m honored to have worked with many of them over the last week. If you are an employer, you will find that Spirit pilots have great work ethic, a great sense of humor, and are enjoyable to be around. I can’t say enough good things about them! They have my highest recommendation.

We get in line. Smile and be positive. We all hoped it wouldn’t happen, but we knew it could. We total those logbooks. Try to remember every guy that rode your jump seat and promised a hand if you ever need it. Now’s the time to call in those chips. We tell our wives not to worry. They are worried. So are we. And then you just get busy. Fill in those apps. We all know we will be valuable to a company. We just have to make those companies believe in us as much as we believe in ourselves.

I lost my flying pen that I had for 25 years (never left my uniform) in 636 one time. Slipped off the tray table, dropped to the floor and into a hole behind the rudder pedal on the captains side. Thought it gone forever. Wrote an email to Maintenance, said I felt the way you would feel if Britney Spears blew a kiss at the guy standing next to you, but not at you. Somebody in maintenance went out to that airplane at 3am and opened up the avionics bay and the hatch above that and retrieved my pen. Next morning at 5am when I got to the gate to do my leg, the gate agent handed me my pen. That was Spirit. That was my family.

Spirit Airlines is preparing to shut down after Trump bailout falls through. Historically, Spirit Airlines has not recorded any fatal passenger crashes since beginning operations in 1992. Many believe they deserve a bailout. What do you think?

Spirit Airlines died tonight at the hands of the socialist crusader, Elizabeth Warren She must be so proud to add another casket to her achievements. Tonight at 3am, Spirit turns off the lights. 14,000 jobs gone. 30+ smaller airports lose service. JetBlue offered $3.8 BILLION in cash to buy Spirit in 2022. Shareholders, flight attendants union, literally everyone voted yes. The combined company would have held 9% of the US market against a Big 4 that already owned 80%. For anyone who understands numbers: 9% isn’t a monopoly against 80%. Warren said no. She wrote letters. She pressured Buttigieg. Biden’s DOJ sued. A federal judge killed the deal in January 2024. Her argument: the merger would cost consumers $1 billion a year. Now look at her collateral damage she dusts under the rug. 510 pilots gone in the months after. 1,800 flight attendants furloughed in December. 14,000 jobs in 2023. 7,500 last week. Zero tonight. And that’s just the people in Spirit uniforms. Catering goes. Fuel guys go. Baggage crews, gate agents, airport coffee shops, hotels and rental cars in 70 cities Spirit flew to. Every airline job carries 3 more on its back. 40,000 people out of work because of one woman’s moronic crusade against the market. And the math ain’t mathing. Spirit abandoned 90 routes during the death spiral. Fares on those routes are up 14% on average. Oakland to Newark: $135 to $288. Fort Myers to San Juan: $92 to $219. Kansas City to Newark up 66%. That’s reality. Not some BS number from a “study.” So @SenWarren tell me how this saves the consumer money? Cheap carriers in a market drop fares 21% across the board. Southwest did this in the 90s and saved Americans $68 BILLION over 20 years. Warren killed it. That’s what moronic politicians led by socialism do. Then with her own blind arrogance, she tweeted Spirit’s collapse is “a Biden win for flyers.” A win. 14,000 people are reading termination letters tonight. And she’s taking credit. This is socialism in 2026. A senator who’s never made payroll thinks she knows how to run a market better than the people who own and work in the company. She saved you a billion on imaginary paper. She cost you ten times that in real life. She didn’t protect consumers from anything. 14,000+ will go from working to welfare. She will make sure to blame billionaires, hardworking tax payers, AI, capitalism and whatever monster they will make up tomorrow hiding under your bed. Higher taxes. Fewer jobs. More expensive everything. She called it a win. I hope you enjoy winning.

@elonmusk You should buy Spirit Airlines, merge it with JetBlue and Frontier, use AI to fix the routes, utilize excess baggage space to transport cargo along the route structure and make the most profitable and respected airline in the world.
