#OnThisDay 6 years ago, the Boeing #Starliner launched into the sky for the first time ever ! Even though the result wasn't the one we all hoped for, OFT-1 still marked the start of a difficult but beautiful journey.

#OTD 7 years ago, #DreamChaser conducted its 2nd (and last) drop test. After being dropped from 3700m, it ended up landing succesfully, providing again precious informations to the technical team and stunning pictures for us 😍

#OnThisDay 12 years ago, #DreamChaser went through its first drop test (free flight). Although not perfect, it gave the team precious information that helped them further develop the spacecraft 💪

Dream Chaser’s first flight will be a free-flyer, demonstration mission, which is expected to prove the technology and deliver critical data to @NASA. We believe this approach will provide us with the flexibility to address the nation’s most pressing national security space challenges, while continuing to advance Dream Chaser’s capabilities for NASA and commercial customers. Our team will be prioritizing first-flight readiness with Dream Chaser, targeting a launch in late 2026 to align with expected launch vehicle availability as we position Dream Chaser as a national asset available for future national security and defense demonstrations. #OnThisDay 3 years ago, the Boeing #Starliner docked for the first time ever to the Internation Space Station, during the OFT-2 mission. Although uncrewed, it was a crucial milestone for the program 🚀

#OnThisDay 3 years ago, #Starliner launched for its 2nd orbital flight test and managed to get back up after a bitter failure (first OFT) Despite the little imperfections that arose, the mission went pretty smoothly overall and carried #RosieTheRocketeer and Jeb from Ksp to space

🔴 Good news ! According to SpaceNews, Boeing is still committed to Starliner despite financial difficulties, and NASA is currently evaluating the possibilites for another Starliner test flight, either crewed or uncrewed

Spacex's Crew-9 (dragon Freedom) has splashed down near Florida, carrying Barry Wilmore and Sunnita Williams home after their 9 months stay in space. (Along with fellow astronauts Hague and Gorbunov)

Spacex' Crew-10 mission has launched, so that means Butch and Sunni will finally come back home, so happy all that drama is finally end 😵‍💫
