How You Can Tell Taylor Sheridan's New Show "The Madison" will be JUST MORE FEMALE EMPOWERMENT GARBAGE: The plot is kinda like a reverse "Beverly Hillbillies": Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell play NY sophisticates who pack up the family and relocate to Montana. Oh wait, no they don't, because the story KILLS OFF KURT RUSSELL AND HIS BROTHER before the story even starts. TAKE THAT, PATRIARCHY! That makes it "a character-driven story about WOMEN processing loss, reassessing priorities, and finding meaning amid profound sorrow." Hollywood Reporter (who only praises FEMALE THINGS) is RAPTUROUS about it and its FEMALE STAR, Michelle Pfeiffer. She is described as "the wealthy matriarch." She is the surviving parent of TWO BITCHY ADULT DAUGHTERS... ...one of whom also has TWO DAUGHTERS. NOT ONE SIGN OF THE PATRIARCHY ANYWHERE! Pfeiffer's daughter's husband according to HR is the "innocent victim of the emasculating power of the New York City water," and " a character who is probably described as a “NYC Beta” on every script page." The show has a FEMALE DIRECTOR who is also the FEMALE CINEMATOGRAPHER. HR praises how she shot a scene where one of the girls is nude, but it’s shot "more like a 19th-century French painting," and less salaciously than "Landman" which was "directed by men who objectify the 17-18 girl in the series relentlessly." One of the hot cowboys they rave about is played by the guy who got thoroughly CUCKED as the titluar "Y: The last Man." And...all of the artwork for the show is WOMEN. I WAS looking forward to seeing how ridiculously empowering this show will be, but if it starts off taking out the male characters, I'm OUT. Fuck Taylor Sheridan.

@GinaMuscato I agree and makes no sense. I think most people have two matching towels in their bathroom at a time? So if you only have three, how does that work. Or maybe that’s old school and no one does matching. One of those things that you don’t really think about until it’s questioned.

I have been informed by NBC that I won’t be back with FNIA this fall and it has given me time to reflect and also to look ahead.    It’s disappointing  news but I want to thank my NBC family for making the last 17 years so special.  I’ll have lasting memories of my time there, especially with Rodney Harrison who has become a tremendous friend.   God has always directed me in these moments and while I’m not sure what the next step will be for me—whether it will be in football, in broadcasting, or getting more involved in church and community outreach —I know God has plans for my life and I can’t wait see them unfold. And I am reminded of one of my favorite verses in the Bible-Romans 8:28. “God works all things for His good for those who love the Lord.”

@CrazyVibes_1 Love olives. Green ones have to be Publix queen olives thrown or placed. I love them in sandwiches or right out of the jar. Black olives are a must for pizza and salads and thanksgiving.

The door locks that keep strangers out" > you're charging me for the hallway "I'm charging you for access to the hallway. The hallway itself was a capital expenditure" > you're my dad. you're supposed to--- "I'm also your government" > what if I don't want to pay for the hallway "Then I can't guarantee the hallway" > it's a hallway. It's already there "For now" She asks what else the $3 covers "Meals, dispute resolution, nightlight maintenance" > dispute resolution? "When your brother takes your toys and I make him give them back. That's taxpayer funded" > that's just parenting "That's the Department of Justice" > what about meals. It’s obvious by the Miami Dolphins not making a Happy Birthday post about Tua that his days with the team are over. When the official announcement is made that he is released or traded, let’s remember the great plays that he made and the physical toll he took while leading the team. And don’t forget about the 2023 season, when many had him in the MVP conversation for much of the year. It’s not Tua’s fault that he’ll be leaving with a pocket full of cash or the team will be cap strapped because of his contract. That is mainly thanks to Chris Grier. I will wish him well and thank him for his time as QB1! #StayClassy #PhinsUp

A dead compressor. But the real diagnosis... it was Built to Break. Under the guise of "green" regulations and "energy efficiency," we’ve traded tanks that lasted thirty years for plastic-heavy shells that barely last five. We are forced to pay a premium for "high-efficiency" tech that saves ten cents a month on electricity, only to be told to throw the whole $1,500 + unit into a landfill when a single internal component fails. It’s a racket. The government mandates the specs, the manufacturers cut the quality, and the consumer is left holding a bag of spoiled milk. We don’t own appliances anymore; we just lease them from the scrap yard.

I don’t know how to describe it, but 72 degrees with the heat on and 72 degrees with the A/C are two totally different temperatures.
