I’m finally thinking about making my Discord public for the community.🩷 ​But seeing all these recent hacker stories has me so nervous. 💦 ​Is it really safe for a VTuber to open a server with 0 mods? ​I’m a solo creator and I really need some advice!✨️

@Im_Jeffery2018 Oh my gosh, I had no idea! I actually got lots of messages saying they accidentally reported my account and I was very confused... I didn't know it was a scam. Thank you so much, this is so helpful! But the messages weren't on Discord...:(´◦ω◦｀)💦

@StarsRebornVT Follow these steps and you'll be safe: 1. Do not download anything suspicious 2. Do not open any suspicious links 3. If someone messages you claiming they "accidentally reported your account" its a scam

@lilhobz329 At the moment, I only share the link if someone asks during my streams, and then I give the access manually.✨️

@StarsRebornVT One thing to counter a lot of stuff is just manually verifying people yourself so they can't do anything in the server without your approval
