The State baseball players are going strong in the summer leagues. 15 of them are in the Cape Cod with Carter White making a major impression this past week. Another really intriguing freshman for State is Dax Hardcastle. 6'4, 220 with a mid 90's fastball who had 113 strikeouts to 14 walks as a senior. But he has been killing it at the plate this summer in the Northwoods league - 23 hits, 22 RBI in 22 games and has 6 doubles and 5 homers. Fascinated to see where he fits.
