You've taken this literally, as in every time we concede, this happens, I said consistently. meaning there are times we can get back in if the team we are playing against is also struggling, which Liverpool are/were. I addressed the subs, too; unfortunately, we all got our hopes up thinking a turn was coming, but we've been knocked back down to earth, again.

I have mentioned this several times that these players, coaching staff, & Head Coaches seem to consistently struggle with adversity. The first half wasn't entirely negative; we looked for a goal & went close several times, but conceding a late goal in the first half, similar to the Burnley away game, knocks all confidence & belief in themselves. The halftime substitutions had no impact, raising further questions. However, whenever we fall behind or face some form of adversity, the team just can't cope. There is a clear lack of quality & leadership at this club, & I don't expect the nearly three-week break to make much difference. #THFC #SPURS #COYS #TOTTENHAM

There’s an old saying and it’s if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The lineup selection for that 2nd leg was spot on, and I was curious to see if Tudor would stick with it. When you look at Forest’s midfield, you should think about matching thier physicality. Which is why I wouldn’t have minded seeing Palhinha in there, but overall that game shows me just how much we’re lacking in the midfield. Even when fully healthy, we’ll get steamrolled if we’re not careful

Why Xavi Simons didn’t start is beyond me. Forest are a defensive team, we needed Simons from the start to help break their low block down. It’s taken 66 minutes to bring him on.

I’m not a fan of 4 GK’s. It’s a waste of a roster spot. Does the competition between 2 through 4 really matter at the end of the day? Unless a major injury occurs, the 2nd and the 3rd won’t see the pitch regardless. It seems like a fruitless endeavor. It would’ve been nice to see Zendejas get a call.
